Excellent location, clean room, Wi-Fi works great, the room has everything you need, including an ironing board and iron and dishwasher, excellent coffee machine. When cleaning the room, the staff also washed the dishes, I was very pleased. The tea and coffee in the room were of good quality.

During check-in, I could not get through to the number indicated at the reception; I called from a mobile phone (from a German number). I eventually managed to check in, pay and get the keys myself, following the instructions on the panel, but it was nerve-wracking that not only were there no human beings in the room, but there was no answer to the phone. Also disappointing was the lack of Netflix on TV in the room. I'm used to watching Netflix regularly, for that price it would be possible to organize this.

AMANO Home is well located in the Mitte neighborhood. There are many places for eating at any time (breakfast or dine out) and it is on walking distance of many places of interest. Very quiet, neat and comfortable. There is no staff to help and everything is online, check-in and check-out. If you need to leave your luggage in a cloakroom, you have the option to leave at Hotel Amano which is 8-10 minutes walk from Amano Home.

Since there is no staff to attend your needs, you will need to deal everything through the app.

Great location and modern spacious studio apartment. A lovely bakery across the road, and a great microbrewery near the entrance.

Check-in wasn’t very clear. There was also no desk/table to work/eat at in the apartment.

The Room was very comfortable roomy and modern, Beds were comfy although the found out sofa was only suitable for one person. The view and the location was amazing. Easy for public transport and lots of eatery’s and restaurants nearby. There is no staff at the counter it is all self checkin, but there is a man who oversees things but his English is very poor.

No staff to greet you or help you, I had no phone calling on my sim data only so being able to get some help was difficult. On arrival we had no instructions on how to get into the garage for our car. Also our first day we were not told there was no hot water , so after 22hours of travelling we had cold showers. They had it fixed the next day, but again no reception for help. Otherwise a great stay.

Good location, cleaning outstanding

Check in, for no reason the system was no giving the key, and unfortunately my mobile didn’t have battery so was a nightmare to find someone to help. Would be good to have some phone in the reception in case any issue like the above.

The location is probably the best in Berlin. There is so much to see within walking distance. The metro station is just around the corner, another one 5 min walk, plus a number of tram lines nearby. Lots of restaurants, takeaways, bakerys, cafés and pubs within a five minute walk. The apartment itself is compact, but comfortable and everything in good shape. Convenient parking in the basement.

The lack of communication with "a living person", no reply to email, and there is no staffed reception or any staff besides cleaners there. The fire alarm went off att 6.30 in the morning (don´t know why, but thankfully no fire)

Modern interiors with most amenities. The kitchen was basic but usable. The sofa bed is quite small, so it's not usable for grown-ups, although it was fine for my two young kids. The main bed was of a good size. The apartment has lots of windows and a good flow of air. Good hot water and a shower. If you are a light sleeper, the tram and the road noise might be an issue. However, the apartment does a decent job with sound insulation. We had no issue with it.

Communication from the property was non-existent. We were to arrive around 9 pm from the airport with young boys. I emailed the property weeks in advance about the check-in process using the booking.com-provided email address and didn't get a direct answer. On the day I called from the airport, I spoke with two different people who could email me the instructions. The desk is not manned after hours, and we had to self-check in using their interactive stations. This process was relatively easy, but the lack of communication from the property is something they should work on.

Well located with a U Bahn station just around the corner, spatious and clean rooms with comfortable bed and all the facilities around No staff, but easy online check-in and check out.

The air conditioner was extremely hot, and we couldn't find the thermostat or a remote control, making it impossible to sleep with the windows open. The bathroom has a glass wall separating it from the room, which made it difficult to use without disturbing my friend due to the lights. While the design is very beautiful, it is not practical. Additionally, there was no table in the room, making it impossible to use the kitchen properly, eat comfortably, or even work on a laptop.

A completely human-free kiosk system was very new to me. Every guidance was pretty good.

When I first arrived, I waited a long time at the front door. I wish this was different. Instead of calling the number there to get in, maybe there could be a system where I can scan the QR code on my phone. Because I use a number from another country, I can't make calls outside of the internet even if I'm at EU continent. This made it difficult for me. Apart from that, I couldn't find a place to put my luggage after checking out until I left the city. I had to search and struggle for this. These types of procedures could be detailed a little more in the room.

Excellent base to explore Berlin. The facilities are new and modern. The unit is spacious and easily accommodated 3 people. Public transport (bus, tram, and subway) is literally right in front of the building with excellent connections to all parts of the city. Alexanderplatz is just a few minutes' walk away. There are lots of good shops and eateries in the immediate vicinity.

Communication beforehand can be better. The only item lacking is a table (even if small) to sit and eat - the lounge certainly has enough space.
