Great location, in a nice street with lots of cafes and shops. It's near the tram stop, making easy to travel to tourist spots. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and they have daily room service (making the beds, cleaning bathroom, etc). There was a kettle, hair dryer and a mini-fridge. We didn't order the breakfast so I will not rate that. The staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

The hotel is a bit old fashioned but if you don't mind the aesthetics it's pretty fine. Note: the bathroom in our room had steps. It was fine for us but it wasn't accessible by wheelchair. Maybe other rooms have better access so be sure to check beforehand if you need it.

The location is gorgeous, the rooms have views of the chestnut trees and there are lots of trendy cafes and shops in the area. Good easy access to the rest of the city on foot or by tram.

You do hear the tram from the bedroom but it’s a low sound. The hotel is outdated, from the 90s and therefore feels old fashioned and not in a good way. The breakfast was also rather bland and old fashioned but there was lots of nice German breads.

Good location as we attended an event 200m away (was freezing cold at night). Not that many hotels that area. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Rooms are large and clean. Nice ladies at front desk.

I did not expect for the rating and price we paid: (i) not fully sound proof. we were on 2nd floor and could hear the trains and people ; (ii) safe deposit box costs 1 Euro for every time you lock it; (iii) room has a kettle but you need to buy coffee bags at front desk (front desk lady did offer me one for free); (iii) no amenities in bathroom + 'one soap for all' dispensers.

This hotel is situated in a good location. You can catch the M1 directly in front of the hotel which takes you to 2 important subway stations on either side. The staff is very kind and helpful.

The shampoo and conditioner could be better. Your level of hotel/service calls for better products. Also, a wash cloth would be nice when taking a shower.

Cute small hotel located in great neighbourhood with good eating and drinking options nearby. The room I was assigned was very quiet overlooking a back courtyard with high ceilings and a lot of light. Very clean and pleasant staff.

Very well situated. Nice rooms but a bit old furniture. Very nice staff and nice restaurant.

I was now on the second floor facing the street and it was a bit to noisy especially friday night. I would next time pick a room facing the courtyard.

The location is great,next to a tram stop and some very nice cafès & bars only a few mins walk away. Hotel breakfast is good also.

We needed to open the window because of the heat in the room and the street noise was very loud then. However, when the windows were closed, it wasn't a problem

The room was quiet, we were on the backside with a garden. There were many close restaurants, some that were open for breakfast. There was a grocery store, Lidl, around the corner. The main tram stop we used was just in front of the hotel and other trams going in different directions were within a 5-10 minute walk. The vibe of the neighborhood was local & tourist and very pleasant. A Rick Steves tour was there, which verified we chose well.

Old style, clean and peaceful hotel in the Prenzlauer Berg area. Bicycle rental option and ovetall good location near The Tram 12, M1 and U-bahn 2, 8 lines.

A bit "cost effective" breakfast.

Fantastic location with M1 and 12 trams outside the door. Really charming family run hotel. Wonderful staff. Neighborhood gives you a sense of the real Berlin.
