The location is very good, making it easy to explore the city and access public transportation. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Great shower and bathtub. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests.

We did encounter a problem with the heating in our room, but it was promptly resolved by the front desk and the maintenance team.

I booked for a king-size bed, and they gave us a double bed . When I showed them my confirmation with the picture of the room ( exactly the same), but with a king-sIze bed, they told me that they always have the same problem with BOOKING, the picture I have with the king-size bed is for an " upper grade" reservation . So why is BOOKING send me the picture if it is not the real one? They told me to call BOOKING and make a complaint. We'll I didn't because we hadn't time and will enough to start a fight between the hotel.and BOOKING.

Excellent location, close to a large train station, you can get to different stations without any problems. Not far from the hotel there is a Museum Island. Right across the road there is a pier where boats depart for a cruise along the river. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us buy a city pass and cruise tickets. The room is nice, clean and big. Comfortable bathroom, mini fridge, excellent air conditioning. Very good breakfast, many different dishes, vegetables, sweets. The waiters will bring you coffee. We chose the room with view to the river - very nice.

Pillows were too soft, not enough power sockets in the room.

The location and the bed.

We had stayed in this hotel once before, about 2 years ago and it is much worse now. We had used the LEVEL then and now too, the offering is soooo much worse that there are no words to describe it. The food is sparse and poor, there is very little choice. We regularly use Meliá hotels because of the LEVEL, and this has been a huge disappointment. Especially because we had first experienced it right here in this hotel. I don’t know what has happened, maybe it was too good and nobody wanted to use the restaurant, so, to push guests to the relatively expensive restaurants, they cut back the choice and the quality of the food in the LEVEL restaurant. Very disappointing.

The location is superb, 2 min walk from the train station with different lines, room is clean facing towards the river or the city. Best thing for me is that the room has bolster! I sleep with a bolster since I was a kid so it is a must for me. I am pleasantly surprised to see one in the room. I have never been to any hotel with bolsters, not even in Asia.

I asked for bottle of water and I was told I would be charged €7 for it, which I thought was weird as water is usually complimentary. Anyway the reception was really nice and told me that i am better off walking 2 mins and get a bottle from a shop nearby.

Location great. 3 minutes from S&U bahn allowing access to all main sites, although walking distance from Br’bg gate. Immediate access to river front, many bars & restaurants. Room good size,Rituals toiletries. Left luggage facility on last day. Very clean

Lack of bedside accessible plugs to charge devices. Bathroom needed a little bit of maintenance (broken tiles) Housekeeping knocking 2 mornings in a row at 8.30 to check on mini bar, then again at 9 on check out day to clean the room. Room overlooking inner 2nd floor roof which made it dark, & roof overgrown with weeds

Melia is a beautiful hotel, in the heart of (one of the many) city center(s) of Berlin. We had tickets to the Friedrichstadtpalast on Saturday evening and for that purpose, there was no better possible location! From the first communication by message, to the warm welcome in the lobby to support with mailing a postal letter (yes! they still do have a real reception with real people who help with real things!) everything was just as it should be. Also, the parking garage in the basement was very convenient. Despite being so central, and despite our window opening to the main street, the room was quiet and undisturbed.

The price for the parking garage is just at the upper limit - we came by car and just left it down there for our entire stay. It would be nice to have a cheaper offer for that purpose. They are, though, not more expensive then other places, parking simply is expensive in Berlin ;)

Location - opposite train station with main route to main train station in 2 minutes, a few minutes walk in either direction took us to most of main sites, some nice places to eat & drink other side of Spree. Breakfast room had enough space, so not chaotic, and lots of choice We made use of hotel bar, which was good Didn't hear any noise from corridor or adjacent rooms in 5 nights of our stay Room OK size for our longish stay

Noise from street from trams, which seemed to go all night. Blocked out OK with air conditioning though.

Our room was clean and quiet and the beds comfortable. The beakfast buffet was VERY well equipped and the staff present and helpful all during our stay. The hotel is situated right next to Friedrichstrasse station so access by public transport is super easy - and the hotel is within walking distance from both Brandburger Tor and the museum island.

The room was too hot for my liking and opening the windows and thereby letting traffic noise in was not an option. Minor details: There were'nt any sockets for charging our phones/laptops close to the bed and someone had switched the handlotion from the sink with hair conditioner in the shower.
