The location is very good, making it easy to explore the city and access public transportation. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Great shower and bathtub. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests.

We did encounter a problem with the heating in our room, but it was promptly resolved by the front desk and the maintenance team.

The level lounge

Excellent location. Clean quiet rooms ( we were at the inside, facing a patio) The combination of having a quiet room in the middle of all Berlin has to offer was a great experience.

I checked out on my phone, said we would be leaving at 10 AM. Apparently the staff received the message that we would be checking out but did not receive/ did not read the time, because at 9 they already knocked on our door. So lesson learned, even though the app offers the possibility of indicating the exact time, do not trust this will be noticed. Also I am not a fan of showering in the bathtub. Lastly, the outlet by the bed was a bit of a challenge but we got it working in the end.

Location great with short walk to e.g museum island and Hackescher markt. Clean, spacious room, Nice and helpful staff. Beds and pillow comfort are subjective. Nice buffet breakfast but not sure if it was really worth the high price per person but why not treat yourself instead of running around looking for a breakfast place. Eggs, different kinds of youghurt, granola, pancakes, bread, bacon are among the yummy things to choose from. I'm happy we chose Melia for 4 nights and would happily stay there again! friedrichstrasse station next door have direct trains to BER and is a great jump off spot to the rest of the city.

I didn't love the pillows....But it is very subjective.

I booked for a king-size bed, and they gave us a double bed . When I showed them my confirmation with the picture of the room ( exactly the same), but with a king-sIze bed, they told me that they always have the same problem with BOOKING, the picture I have with the king-size bed is for an " upper grade" reservation . So why is BOOKING send me the picture if it is not the real one? They told me to call BOOKING and make a complaint. We'll I didn't because we hadn't time and will enough to start a fight between the hotel.and BOOKING.

Very central location. Very close to all public transportation (main station for bus, train and underground). Walking distance from many major tourist highlights of Berlin (for example museum island, parks and at 30 minutes even Brandenburger Tor). Numerous waterside restaurants and bars are across the water and bridge, within 1 minute walking. Good and secure underground parking (30 euros per day).

The room smelled a tiny little bit like cigarette smoke. Not enough to complain, but it was noticeable. And the AC wasn’t working/wasn’t powerful enough. This is a really large hotel, so be prepared for a very busy breakfast room and buffet. It feels like you’re on a cruise ship! 😄

Perfect location in the very heart of Berlin — the Melia Berlin Hotel is truly “center of the center.” Parking is available (paid, but convenient). The hotel is next to the river and close to major landmarks, which makes exploring the city easy. Rooms are well sized and comfortable, the gym is well equipped, and the lobby is spacious with a good setup for working online.

I expected a higher level of comfort. Unfortunately, the room did not provide basic amenities such as toothpaste and toothbrush, and even home slippers were not included. These are small details that don’t cost much for the hotel, but make a big difference in the guest experience.

The location and the bed.

We had stayed in this hotel once before, about 2 years ago and it is much worse now. We had used the LEVEL then and now too, the offering is soooo much worse that there are no words to describe it. The food is sparse and poor, there is very little choice. We regularly use Meliá hotels because of the LEVEL, and this has been a huge disappointment. Especially because we had first experienced it right here in this hotel. I don’t know what has happened, maybe it was too good and nobody wanted to use the restaurant, so, to push guests to the relatively expensive restaurants, they cut back the choice and the quality of the food in the LEVEL restaurant. Very disappointing.

The location is superb, 2 min walk from the train station with different lines, room is clean facing towards the river or the city. Best thing for me is that the room has bolster! I sleep with a bolster since I was a kid so it is a must for me. I am pleasantly surprised to see one in the room. I have never been to any hotel with bolsters, not even in Asia.

I asked for bottle of water and I was told I would be charged €7 for it, which I thought was weird as water is usually complimentary. Anyway the reception was really nice and told me that i am better off walking 2 mins and get a bottle from a shop nearby.

Excellent location, close to a large train station, you can get to different stations without any problems. Not far from the hotel there is a Museum Island. Right across the road there is a pier where boats depart for a cruise along the river. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us buy a city pass and cruise tickets. The room is nice, clean and big. Comfortable bathroom, mini fridge, excellent air conditioning. Very good breakfast, many different dishes, vegetables, sweets. The waiters will bring you coffee. We chose the room with view to the river - very nice.

Pillows were too soft, not enough power sockets in the room.
