We stayed here for the RHEINKIRMES event, we came all the way from the UK, all staff were very nice and friendly, the atmosphere was amazing and the great service made us feel like home. Breakfast was also nice, and the hotel was very close to the funfair. Will definitely be back here when we stay in DUSSELDORF again

There were problems with the Wi-Fi, the signal was good in the reception and in the garden but it barely reached the rooms, however this did not really impact our stay, hopefully these issues will be sorted out soon

I was staying there one night, visiting the family. The place was quiet and comfortable, the people were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is a very well-maintained house that makes you feel like home. There is a small garden in the backyard that was a place to relax. Breakfast was served in a dining room with a buffet of excellent quality.

Be careful, parking is quite difficult at the surrounding. Better to take public transportation to the place, or an uber. Neighborhood is quiet, pleasant and high-level place with a tram that puts you in downtown in 10 minutes.

My sister and I spent one night at Boutique Hotel Villa Oberkassel and it was more than what we bargained for. The person that checked us in was incredibly welcoming and polite. He even invited us to have breakfast on the house as no other guests were there the morning we checked out. The room was very clean, we had a quiet night in and it all went very smoothly. Nothing but praises for our stay. Definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel might seem small to many but it is exactly as you would expect in terms of the feeling for a Boutique hotel, and we were very happy that it was a small hotel. It gave us the calm and serene feeling that we appreciated a lot. Our room was room, properly equiped with dressing drawers and wardrobe. The bathroom was a bit small, but was clean, modern and perfect for being insuite. Appropriate breakfast was served, attended by the staff,  Got my eggs freshly done as I wanted and served with a pot of brewed coffee. The rest of the breakfast spread was good indeed given the size of the hotel. The staff in general was very helpful and pleasant. We noticed after the first night that the refrigerator was broken. But they turned on the bigger wine refrigerator in the common space and let us use it. There were no glasses or mugs in the room. But the next day, the cleaning staff must have noticed the mistake and replenished them without us getting a chance to complain. This showed that they were also attentive. We had a very nice stay. The locality is a calm residential zone and yet good restaurants and bars less that 5-10 mins walking distance. A bus stop adjacent to the hotel takes you to the closest tram stop to downtown. A block behind the hotels is a promenade along the water, a must do routine after breakfast if it is not pouring down.

There is honestly nothing to complain with our stay. But if we can be picky we would say "The ventilation". It was quite warm when we were visiting and it got very stuffy inside, opening the window did help a bit, but I guess it is an old building so may be not much that can be done. May be a fan could have helped?

The hotel offers delicious breakfasts. The staff is exceptional and attentive to the needs of their guests. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfy. The surrounding area is quiet, peaceful and even ideal in terms of transportation. Waking up, you can hear beautiful birdsong This is a place to recommend wholeheartedly.

No disadvantages

Too good to be true - stay in a posh villa in Oberkassel with full hotel amenities including a full breakfast buffet. Very friendly host, walking distance from beautiful Dominikanerstrasse with its charming boutiques und lively restaurants. If you are lucky you can get it at ridiculously low rates for the value you are getting.

Ideal location- close to restaurants, shopping and transportation. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Thanks to Rick Steves for recommending! We'd book here again.

TV had cable connection issues. The room was above the kitchen and I could a bit smell the breakfast. Not an issue, but I didn't need cleaning between the 1st and the 2nd night, so next time would specifically request none. :)

Great staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Located in a quiet area, right next to the Rhine river. Public transport available close by

Soundproofing is not so good, so you'll hear loud people in the adjacent rooms.
