Good breakfast. I had a room with my own shower but no toilet; I actually prefer the toilet being separate from the room. Excellent shower. The window when shut kept out most of the noise from the street and I was not disturbed in the night by noise.

I would have liked a kettle and DIY coffee/tea tray in the room, like one has in UK hotels. But as this lack is normal for Europe, I cannot make any formal complaint. Lack of comfortable seating in the room. I had made a request for gluten free bread for breakfast, but this message had not been received or maybe not passed on or maybe just not acted on. ( As a precaution, I took my own anyway.)

I stayed one night and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was pretty small but as described, so no surprises. Rather old fashioned but well maintained and clean. Good towels and a confortable bed. There was a private shower and washbasin in the room, and then the toilet was in the corridor, shared with another room. The breakfast was included in the rate and actually pretty good, with a little bit of everything including eggs, ham, fresh fruit... The location is super centric, also very close to the river. In general, a very good value for money.

The inconvinience of being so cental was the noise during the night, as there were many bars and restaurants down the street. It was also a bit bright even during the night, as my window was right next to the illuminated large sign of the hotel.

because of the location it’s a bit loud at night. You hear everything from the street. And also the belows are very thin and uncomfortable and with the noises from outside I didn’t feel I slept well that night.

The location is excellent, close to the city centre, a subway station, and plenty of both restaurants and stores. The room itself was clean, and though for example a hairdryer was not present, it was available for request. Most of the staff seemed to speak English well enough.

Nothing over the absolute neccessities was included, no hygiene products, slippers, or the like, but considering the price, that is acceptable. The only MAJOR complaint I had was that the noise level at night was incredibly high, as there are a lot of pubs, and a lot of people frequenting the streets around the hotel. With earplugs and a strong noise tolerance this can still be manageable,but if you can't sleep with noise, stay away. The information sheet was also purely in German, but contained little that wasn't obvious, and was easily handled with a translator app.

The location is really good in the center, so everything for us was close. The room is small but comfortable, it was clean. The breakfast was good. The price was really good for the room.

You can hear the noise from the street (specially in weekends) and the curtains didn’t block the sun.

A lovely hotel in the heart of the old town, a cozy little room with a massage shower, and a helpful staff make it a great budget place for staying in Düsseldorf. The cleaning service was thorough and everybody was friendly and helpful during my stay.

There is a running air-conditioning or generator on one side of the building and a whole "party street" (lots of bars) on the other so it could be a bit noisy, but nothing that would really wake you up.

Great value, perfect for a short trip to Düsseldorf. Small private room with shower, shared bathroom just down the hall, perfectly clean all throughout my stay. Breakfast was great.

The hotel is a little dated, and everything is somewhat cramped. But the value for the price is great.

Good hotel in the old city center. I'm staying here already not the first time and I am satisfied with the quality that they provide. Breakfast is pretty good there.

Bad soundproofing of the room door, so you can hear everything from the hallway.

The location is right in Altstadt and nearby are lots of restaurants, pubs and sights you can easily walk to. The staff was nice and the breakfast good. Hotel had all I needed for a couple of nights.

The room was small, with a bed, desk and a wardrobe. The shower was located inside the room, but toilet was outside in the corridor shared by one other room on the floor, that was not ideal. Also the location near the pubs etc has its cons because you can hear quite noisy sounds late in the night, but with earplugs one can sleep.
