The breakfast was rich and tasty, the room was clean, most of the personal were helpful and welcoming (planning the best way to get to remote locations, looking for adapters for charges of electric devices)

It is located on a street with many bars in a very touristic area, the downsides were expected - the hotel provided earplugs and the windows did manage to reduce the noise but it was still difficult to fall asleep. When leaving relatively early in the morning there were quite a few homeless people in the area.

The location is so convenient. I was in Dusseldorf for an exhibition. And every night I get invited for dinner in one of the many restaurants in the Alstatt. And after dinner (and a couple of drinks) I didn't need to worry about commuting on trains to my hotel. It's right there, just walk up to my room. The breakfast was surprisingly very good. It had a lot of options. Having a good breakfast was important for me to start a busy day at the exhibition.

My room was a little small. I didn't mind it really, cause I did not spend a lot of time there (outside of sleeping hours :) The bars on the street can get noisy. Better book a room on the other side of the building if you are an early sleeper.

Stayed here several times now, all good, nice breakfast, single room is snug, bed is fine, linen changed every day and everything spotless. The main reason to stay here is the hotel location, right in the Aldtadt, probably the best placed of them all. If you want to stay in the Aldstadt, this is number one choice. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Didn't bother us but it's a hotel on four levels, stairs may be too much if you are less mobile. Most would be fine though.

Very nice staff, very clean (10), very comfortable bed, internet good, breakfast good. Area around is great, plenty of restaurants, very crean despite being near main train station. Short walk from Dusseldorf Hbf

A little hard to find, just next to an Irish bar. Well soundproofed, bar sounds on weekday quieted after 10 and was able to sleep with windows open. Hotel did provide complimentary ear plugs for light sleepers but few will need them. No elevator, steep stairs.

Great value in a good location. 25 minute walk from the train station and only 5 minutes to the river. Even better I had a room with a view. On the fourth floor and there isn’t a lift. Fine for me but be aware if stairs are a problem for you. Generous breakfast - fruit, juice, yoghurt, cold meats & cheese. Bread & jam. Tea & coffee. Enjoyed the kettle in the room & Aldi supermarket only a 5 minute walk. Thoroughly recommend.

Situated above one of 3 Irish Pubs (on the same corner of the street) I was a bit unsure what to expect. Reception was closed but keys were lodged with bar staff and they quickly and efficiently passed the keys to room. Room itself was a basic single, as booked, and was clean, tidy, good bathroom, tea and coffee facilities and a view on main street. My room, #9, was on the 4th floor and as it was a Saturday night, despite having window closed, a little noisy. Would not put off a heavy sleeper, but a light sleeper might be upset - book a room to the rear. Breakfast was very good for such a small hotel (12 rooms) and the variety and the display much better than I expected (and very few packaged products) Location is a 10. You are right in the heart of the "world´s longest bar" as they describe Düsseldorf.

Very clean, functional room with great air conditioning in the middle of the Altstadt at a very good price. Please remember the Altstadt is full of bars and restaurants and gets loud on weekends and holiday. Also, please note that this is a bed and breakfast, not a Five Star hotel.

I liked it, especially the comfortable rooms and friendly staff in a great location. However, it can be loud on weekends, and the finish out, although completely ok, is not luxurious.

Excellent location if you want to explore the lively end of Dusseldorf - located above Suttons Irish bar. 5 mins walk from underground/tram. Decent cold buffet breakfast. Friendly staff on hand from breakfast until 6pm. Comfy bed and decent air con helped with summer heat. Ear plugs provided but not needed.

No lift, so you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

The room was renovated with nice decoration, very well equipped (kettle with coffe/tea, hair dryer etc.), and super clean. The breakfast was great with huge variety of everything. The staff was super friendly. Since it is a small house, where the reception is not 24 hrs., I needed to pick up the key in the Irish Pub next door where already an envelop with keys and all information was ready. Elderly or handicapped guests should have in mind that the house has no elevator.

Small hotel located in the city centre of old Düsseldorf.Cosy and clean double room. 2 min walk from the tube, and good distance from all the others attractions.

On the ground floor of the hotel, is located an Irish pub, and the street is full of pubs. There is a lot of noise at night and impossible to leave the window open. The hotel management worked out this issue leaving in the room earplugs for their Guests and installing air conditioning.
