The location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of the old town! It’s literally around the corner. If you keep your window closed, there is barely any noticeable noise from the street. The staff was super helpful. We arrived before check-in, but were able to stall our luggage in their office near the train station.

The sink was still dirty from make-up residue I think? There were also a few hairs on the bathroom walls. There is soap available to wash your hands with, but it’s attached to the wall in the shower because it also serves as a body wash. So after going to the toilet we had to get into the shower to get some soap to wash our hands with. Would’ve been nice if there was a bottle of soap attached to the wall next to the sink as well.

The location was just perfect. Right in the heart of the Altstadt. Enough eateries and sights to see on our doorstep. Very vibey area. The hotel room and shower was clean. Bed was comfy with a nice big TV screen. Coffee machine. A gorgeous retro pink fridge which I fell in love with and nearly took back with me. The only thing that irked and confused me a bit (bearing in mind I was not familiar with the area) was that the reception is a 15 minute walk away although it is easily accessible from the train station or an Uber. You are asked to call the reception and someone would then meet you at the hotel but in my case I was meeting someone who was coming from somewhere else. But as for the location you cannot go wrong because the choice of restaurants is just incredible. The area is busy so expect a bit of late night noise and obviously in the morning when the cleaning and delivery trucks drive through but nothing excessive. Really worth a visit. Fell in love with the Altstadt.

The reception not being closer. We would have liked to have left our bags to do more sight-seeing but we managed okay.

Location is very convenient, and the pricing is sensible. Also the room was neat and clean, and exactly like the picture.

During the heatwave the room gets really stuffy, so you have to open windows, but then there's street noise (it's a central location after all). But the pros still outweigh the cons.

Precisely what I needed. Centrally located, clean hotel. I came after 20:00, my keys were in a safe locker. Very well organised.

The fact that there is no reception might be a bit tricky but all went well in my case.

It could be noisy at night, I am a heavy sleeper so this did not bother me at all. It is also on the top floor, lots of stairs to go up and down. Doesn't really affect the stay though, just something to keep in mind when you book.
