The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient if you want to explore the city. The stuff was fantastic, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was alone and fresh out of surgery and although they do not offer room service, they helped me so much by bringing me food and beverages to the room.

What I didn't like is the bathroom situation. There is a glass box which is the toilet and another glass box where is the shower. The shower is literally glass, so if you are not alone in the room the other person can see you. Which it might be ok in some situations I get it but in general 0 privacy. I was travelling alone so it was ok but I wouldn't really stay there with another person. Maybe it is just a personal preference.

We had such a fabulous stay at Ruby Coco! We were in town to visit the Christmas markets and the location was absolutely perfect, with most of the markets a mere 5-20 minute walk away. The hotel is also a short walk away from all of the bars and restaurants in the Altstadt, making going out for dinner or drinks a breeze. The staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our luggage before checking in and after checking out due to the timing of our flights. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. We appreciated all of the fun decor throughout the hotel, such as vintage sewing machines, electric guitars, and fun neon signs, all of which contributed to a unique, exciting atmosphere. Thanks for a great stay, we look forward to trying more Ruby hotels in the future!

We had a great stay! The awesome location right in front of an underground entrance made getting around super easy. It's also in a very central location, perfect for exploring the city. The check-in and check-out process was fast and easy, and the rooms were clean with a comfortable bed and an okay size room for a short stay. The lobby was nice, even though we only stayed two nights and didn’t get to use it much. Would definitely recommend!

The shower and bathroom are not in a separate room and the shower had fully see-through glass walls, and while there was 1 curtain on the side facing the bed, the other side remained completely visible. It felt a bit awkward and lacked privacy. Interestingly, the toilet has frosted glass, which we appreciated, I just wish the shower had the same level of privacy.

I understand why they do the galley kitchens and that’s ok. However the water never boiled and did not get hot enough for tea. It’s also a bit annoying when you want a tea in the evening and you have to leave the room. The pillows were also weird and uncomfortable. One was too big to sleep on and the other too small. If you have mobility issues, this might also not be the place for you as there were a few random stairs here and there.

The staff was very approachable and helpful, so immediately, I had a good first impression. The room was definitely better than I expected. It looked very elegant, with a large nice shower and even two types of shower gel. The bed was comfortable and there is even the option to dim the lights. Even though there was stuff going on in the hotel, the room was quiet, so I had no trouble falling asleep. The position is perfect, since it's close to the city centre, but still reachable by foot from the train station.

If someone doesn't know where the hotel is, it's hard to spot.

The staff is super friendly and professional. The room is warm and pretty cozy. The hotel style is amazing. And their cocktails are sooooo good! The location is very nice because you can go anywhere within 10 mins walking. Shopping center is attached, which is great.

The price for breakfast is quite high. Although food is nice, to me 20 euros per person is too high. There is no mini bar in the room. Also no smart TV and channels are in German only. Pity that there is no restaurant, however there are some very close.

The hotel is beautiful, very modern and clean. Staff is helpful. Rooms are very comfortable. The hotel has it’s own line of cosmetic products, the one you can find in every room, and it is remarkable! You can buy the products at the reception, worth every cent!

Rooms don’t have a mini bar, or phone to contact the reception when in need. Walls are very thin, and we had drunk neighbours who partied, shouted and laugh trough the whole night. Hotel itself is hard to reach, it’s practically hidden within the walls of an older building, but when you reach it - it is indeed lovely. They don’t offer a parking space, but they do recommend a near one.

Ruby Coco is a cool, quirky hotel, 5 min walk from nearest underground station. Rooms are not huge but very comfortable, large bed. Staff very friendly and lovely bar area. Breakfast is an option but we didn't take this, it is a shame they don't/ can't offer bar snacks in the hotel.

Nothing I didn't like but for extra points I would have preferred tea/coffee making facility in the room, and there was no English breakfast tea option in the 'tea/coffee' room on our floor.

Very quiet room with good bed. Very rich and good breakfast. A little complicated for orientation, but all is signed well and you should find your room without problems. The shower is a little tricky, I found water not only in the toilet part, but also on the floor. Probably that's why the floor panels were rised a bit. The metal chair is not a good choise, it's cool and makes terrible noises when moved. But all in all OK.

We loved the whole concept of this hotel and its decor and design. The patio was so very pleasant to enjoy breakfast or just a beverage. The breakfast buffet left nothing out and was a great start to our days. The staff was AMAZING and fun and laid back. Our room was exceptionally comfortable. We would definitely return and recommend to others without hesitation
