Outstanding hotel, really nice with fantastic location and welcoming staff. Beautiful architecture inside and outside. Amazing bar on the ground floor. Terrific breakfast selection and quality.

The hotel has swimming pool, but not really. It is part of the Spa/Gym that is adjacent in the same building. It is clunky to get there. You also need to ring the bell when you arrive. Also kids are not allowed there (18+ strictly), whereas that's what we promised to our kids that there will be a swimming pool. In the end we couldn't use it. So maybe make it more explicit that 18+ only for that area. It was super disappointing otherwise for our family as we drove 200+ km to stay in this hotel.

Luxurious stay with lovely attention to detail. I particularly enjoyed that all staff were not just efficient and helpful but friendly and welcoming which made the hotel feel like home. Food was outstanding in the restaurant with an excellent breakfast selection. Room service was the best I have experienced.

The only criticism I have but it was a significant one was the lighting in the room. It was just far too dark. Even with all the lights on it was ‘gloomy’ and at times difficult to see. Plus there was no way to just turn on the bathroom light alone. So that meant either waking everyone up in the night by turning on the lights for a trip to the bathroom. In the end I resorted to leaving the lights off which resulted in my tripping over the lip at the edge of the bathroom flooring and falling head long into the sink. I was not injured but I think this flaw is a potential health and safety issue - especially for elderly guests and ought to be investigated.

The room is clean and big. We stayed with 2 child comfortably in a family room. the breakfast was perfect. staff was very helpful and caring. Gym acces is amazing. It is not a hotel gym like other hotels, it is a proper fitness center with outside membership.

Price is too expensive even for the quality. The bed and matress are below quality comparing to other competitors. I think they can afford good quality beds and pillows. I hate double sided sliding doors. They are never closing completely and cannot be locked. It is an unncessary features that nobody likes but looks cool. For separating door is maybe ok but for toilet door it is useless.

The room was large, very well furnished, and clean. There was plenty of room to hang clothes and plenty of hangers. The location was excellent - near the station, canals, shops and restuarants, in a very nice neighborhood. Staff were very helpful.

It was very hot and stuffy in the room. After asking the staff 3 times about the air conditioning and having no response desepite their saying they would come and check, we gave up and slept with the windows open, which was very noisy in the mornings. We also had to strip the sheet covers off the doonas, as it was far too hot to sleep otherwise. Breakfast was wonderful, but very expensive.

This is an outstanding hotel. The breakfast is top tier. The AC was a plus since many European hotels do not have AC. The location is very convenient to the shopping plaza and a local park for walking pets. I didn't have time to use the spa next door but will indulge in my next stay. I felt welcomed from the time we arrived from the time we departed. I loved the 10 levels of art. I stopped by each floor to view the artwork. I would definitely stay again when visiting düsseldorf!

It was not the hotel's fault, but the homeless were sleeping outside around the corner from the entrance. No complaints at all about the hotel.

Room was very comfortable in all means and location is great for city vacation. Overall experience was good but not to the high end as we were expected. Environment was very nice and everything worked quite well.

As a high end hotel, service might need some fine tuning and sharpening to actually achieve top level, especially at the breakfast and dining services. New team members training before entering to tasks, and level that they need to achieve, would be considered, not that they practice with customers alone but are supported by more experienced staff. It might be beneficial to dust the rooms as well.

I was incredibly surprised and delighted when I received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite—an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture, especially since I was celebrating my birthday! The suite was stunning: spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the luxuries one could ask for. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the comfort of the bed made for a perfect night’s sleep. To make my stay even more special, the hotel surprised me with a small birthday treat in my room—a thoughtful touch that truly made my day. The level of hospitality was exceptional, and every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to ensure I had the best experience possible. The breakfast at Kö59 was another highlight. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, with fresh and delicious options to suit every taste. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere made it a wonderful way to start the day. The hotel’s location is ideal, with easy access to Düsseldorf’s main attractions, fantastic restaurants, and public transport. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel is the perfect choice. I cannot recommend Kö59 highly enough. My stay was truly unforgettable, and I will absolutely be returning in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday trip so special!

The hotel was lovely, perfect location close to everything and the staff superb. They really went out of their way to accommodate its guests in every way. I just cannot say enough about the staff they located and even retrieved things for me. The bed linen’s were high quality natural fibers so no reactions to allergies. Good sized rooms windows vent for fresh air. Light filled just a truly lovely hotel.

The restaurant, its menu is very limiting and not much emphasis on food in its whole form. By that I mean overly cooked or sauced. It was not allergy or diabetic friendly. Not even a fruit/vegetable plate for those of us who have to eat to live rather than living to eat it was difficult. However because of the hotel location you had many other options within a 2 minute walk. Not to mention the old town with fabulous street vendors of all types of international food. Plus little Tokyo as they call it. So don’t be afraid to book because the Hotel is well worth the stay.

I must’ve hit the jackpot the day I arrived :) got upgraded from a Superior King to a Superior Suite upon arrival. The room was beautifully decorated, came with a separate living and working area, a walk-in closet, high-end amenities, and thoughtful touches that really elevated the stay. The view from the 10th floor over Düsseldorf is stunning. The gym isn’t the usual hotel setup. It’s properly equipped and feels more like a real fitness studio. And the reception staffs were genuinely outstanding, professional, warm, and helpful.

The room was perfect and comfortable. AC was working great during hot days outside. Blackout shades which was important for my baby's sleep. Gave me extra mattresses for the baby bed which made it easier for me to handle her. Every time I walked to the hotel with my baby stroller, there was always a staff member who ran towards me to get the door for me. The hotel and rooms are well designed and super clean. The access to Holmes Place gym and spa are a plus, I got to swim at the pool which was a nice refresher during my stay. My husband worked out at the gym and said it was one of the best gyms he got to visit. The restaurant is great, both for breakfast and dinner.

Except for the breakfast being costy, nothing I can think of, really.
