Luxurious stay with lovely attention to detail. I particularly enjoyed that all staff were not just efficient and helpful but friendly and welcoming which made the hotel feel like home. Food was outstanding in the restaurant with an excellent breakfast selection. Room service was the best I have experienced.

The only criticism I have but it was a significant one was the lighting in the room. It was just far too dark. Even with all the lights on it was ‘gloomy’ and at times difficult to see. Plus there was no way to just turn on the bathroom light alone. So that meant either waking everyone up in the night by turning on the lights for a trip to the bathroom. In the end I resorted to leaving the lights off which resulted in my tripping over the lip at the edge of the bathroom flooring and falling head long into the sink. I was not injured but I think this flaw is a potential health and safety issue - especially for elderly guests and ought to be investigated.

Room was very comfortable in all means and location is great for city vacation. Overall experience was good but not to the high end as we were expected. Environment was very nice and everything worked quite well.

As a high end hotel, service might need some fine tuning and sharpening to actually achieve top level, especially at the breakfast and dining services. New team members training before entering to tasks, and level that they need to achieve, would be considered, not that they practice with customers alone but are supported by more experienced staff. It might be beneficial to dust the rooms as well.

An Unforgettable Stay at Kö59 – Exceptional Service! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kö59 in Düsseldorf, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay special. I was incredibly surprised and delighted when I received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite—an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture, especially since I was celebrating my birthday! The suite was stunning: spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the luxuries one could ask for. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the comfort of the bed made for a perfect night’s sleep. To make my stay even more special, the hotel surprised me with a small birthday treat in my room—a thoughtful touch that truly made my day. The level of hospitality was exceptional, and every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to ensure I had the best experience possible. The breakfast at Kö59 was another highlight. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, with fresh and delicious options to suit every taste. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere made it a wonderful way to start the day. The hotel’s location is ideal, with easy access to Düsseldorf’s main attractions, fantastic restaurants, and public transport. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel is the perfect choice. I cannot recommend Kö59 highly enough. The hotel was lovely, perfect location close to everything and the staff superb. They really went out of their way to accommodate its guests in every way. I just cannot say enough about the staff they located and even retrieved things for me. The bed linen’s were high quality natural fibers so no reactions to allergies. Good sized rooms windows vent for fresh air. Light filled just a truly lovely hotel.

The restaurant, its menu is very limiting and not much emphasis on food in its whole form. By that I mean overly cooked or sauced. It was not allergy or diabetic friendly. Not even a fruit/vegetable plate for those of us who have to eat to live rather than living to eat it was difficult. However because of the hotel location you had many other options within a 2 minute walk. Not to mention the old town with fabulous street vendors of all types of international food. Plus little Tokyo as they call it. So don’t be afraid to book because the Hotel is well worth the stay.

The room was perfect and comfortable. AC was working great during hot days outside. Blackout shades which was important for my baby's sleep. Gave me extra mattresses for the baby bed which made it easier for me to handle her. Every time I walked to the hotel with my baby stroller, there was always a staff member who ran towards me to get the door for me. The hotel and rooms are well designed and super clean. The access to Holmes Place gym and spa are a plus, I got to swim at the pool which was a nice refresher during my stay. My husband worked out at the gym and said it was one of the best gyms he got to visit. The restaurant is great, both for breakfast and dinner.

Except for the breakfast being costy, nothing I can think of, really.

Fantastic location. The team were all so nice and accommodating. The room was comfortable, quiet, beautifully chic, and the shower pressure was excellent. Also, we asked for firmer pillows, and they were deposited almost immediately in our room. The attention to detail and super friendly manner of everyone we encountered was perfect.

Only 1 issue was the shower door opening into the area of the toilet, left a terribly large puddle of water after we had showered just in front of the toilet. Just a bit of weird design, otherwise no issue at all.

The location was perfect. Rooms were big enough and well equipped with f&b amenities (coffee machine, hot water pot, etc). Breakfast is perfect with just a word. I have never seen fresh apple juice machine in another EU hotels even if they were 5 stars.

Cleanliness was room was a little bit bad. Inside of the drawers were dusty. Especially the glasses. Our room was looking inside of the hotel hall, despite the curtains are blackout it didnt work and we get all the light in during the night which effects sleeping quality much.

Nicely located in the city centre, very clean room and great service. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner were delicious, the service and attention to details were super to me and my kids. Loved it and would stay again!

I had wrong details of my booking reservation at the reception (wrong name and address details). I was also told that breakfast was not included in my reservation though it was. The spa is a part of the sport gym next to the hotel, crowded and dated.

Our Junior Suite with accessible balcony overlooking the Königsallee was spacious and well-appointed. Direct access to the Holmes Place spa and gym was much appreciated. Excellent, friendly staff on reception. The location in Düsseldorf couldn't be better.

The swimming pool is in the Holmes Place gym and spa, which is only accessible for over-18s (not to children even if accompanied by a parent) and is at certain times not available to hotel guests because of water-fitness classes.

What did we like? Everything! I would like to start with the personnel, they where open to help and very friendly. Room was clean and big, enough space for two of us. Location was also fantastic, in the heart of centrum. If you have some spare time go to the bar, they have some nice drinks and the atmosphere is really great, some will say "cool" or "chill". Breakfast was also amazing, seriously... the variation of food was mega and the glass bubbles/champagne/prosecco in the morning is spot on!

Parking... sign said that there where free spaces so we drove under the hotel to park our car. Unfortunetly all places where full and we where waiting about one hour with 6 others cars in front of the berries till someone will leave. Everyone was stuck and there was nog possibility to go back so we had to wait.
