Great location. We were close to the river and all the amenities. The room was spotless. High quality bedding/ towels and good quality toiletries. Views across Dusseldorf were fantastic. The rooftop bar was a lovely bonus early evening. The staff made the hotel so good. Nothing was too much trouble. So friendly and welcoming. Lucas in particular was a wonderful front of house for the hotel. Such a cheerful and polite staff all round. I cannot wait to stay again.

As we are tea monsters, I would’ve liked the option of a kettle in the room. The 24 hour bar provided us with hot water whenever we required it. It was just personal choice for us. Not really a problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ruby Luna hotel, and would absolutely stay there again, and will definitely look to stay at its Sister Hotels in other cities if we visit. The staff were SUPERB - very friendly, cheery and helpful, with excellent English - thank you! The room was great - exactly as advertised with lots of lovely touches and helpful notes. The roof top bar was a bonus, as was the lovely seating area in the lobby. The Ruby Luna is in an excellent location and easily accessed from the airport. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and excellent service. We paid 24 euro per person for breakfast which we felt was expensive but it was convenient. In future I would rather leave a tip for staff and find a cheaper breakfast locally. If / when we return to Dusseldorf we will book here again.

Ruby Luna hotel is now my favourite place to stay in Dusseldorf! It has a wonderful fun spaceman/space themed decor, my room was a basic one but I was very comfortable. It was very clean, and had everything I needed and I slept well. It's a 5 minute easy stroll to Carlsplatz market and easy access via public transport, with great options for food and coffee etc. and a fabulous wine bar Weinlokal Galerie am Karlplatz for anyone who feels like stepping out for a nice glass of wine and Flammkuchen. The bar and communal areas looked great, I didn't get to use them, but next time I will make time to enjoy this part of the hotel. Front desk staff are delightful and do a great job.

I wish I could have stayed longer! The desk in my room was really too small to fit a laptop and work comfortably, so business travellers might prefer to use the communal area downstairs for work. The suitcase folding bench was very small, so that might bother some people - I just put my small cabin suitcase on the floor.

I feel that more people need to know how terrific the Ruby Luna is. The 24/7 bar and check in are absolutely great. The super friendly, competent and helpful staff, especially Rob, Kilian, Mo and Lucas, are phenomenal. Their service oriented assistance and attention to detail made it so that I want to stay in Ruby Hotels for future travels and will convince my friends to join. Thanks to the concept and the fantastic team my stay in Duesseldorf at the Ruby Luna was memorable, bar to no other. A home away from home. Thank you.

We had a lovely time during our visit! My partner and I were staying for Gamescom from Monday to Friday and it was very pleasant. We also like the subtle space theme, from the shape of the windows in the rooms, to the decor in the reception lounge. 😊 The room was very good with good views, with electric blinds. It also had air con which was very nice. The staff at reception, the bar, and at breakfast, were so lovely and friendly which made our stay so nice. They made us feel very welcome, which means a lot as we are an LGBT+ couple. The hotel served a lovely breakfast buffet and good cocktails. The rooftop bar is also lovely. We liked the location and found this was a good base for our trips into Dusseldorf and into Cologne for our visit to Gamescom. Overall we had a great time! Many thanks to Ruby Luna and the lovely team.

My only complaint would be that the room could do with some paint on the walls to cover up some scratches, but that is superficial and is expected in a hotel. We were also disappointed that the TV had very few English channels, and the only station we could understand was BBC news - the settings were disabled and we could not enable subtitles either sadly. We would have really liked a bigger room with a seating area in the room, but I'm not sure if that is an option.

Very cool hotel, with a funky reception, guitars to play which was something you don't come across very often! I took a guitar to my room and plugged it in to the beside Marshall Amp (it also doubles up as a bluetooth speaker!), it's Ok and it was nice to have a jam and something different to do. Lots of nice touches and messages dotted about and very warm and welcoming from arrival to departure. Super panoramic roof bar for a sunset City view so don't miss this and there were also bikes available to explore too, which I didn't use, there was so much that made this hotel particularly interesting and I wish I could have stayed for longer to enjoy it more. The breakfast was great too, I was very happy with the offer, lovely coffee and latte art and I was glad not to have the usual full cooked breakfast options some hotels offer to tempt you! And lastly food at Boname restaurant next door was also very handy for a quick bite to eat after late check in. As a lone traveller I had a fantastic stay here 👍

Like other reviews it would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room but they are available in reception. Also I get the other reviews about no fridge but environmentally I guess I could forgo that and a room clean for the free beer! Thank you🍻:)

Absolutely loved the vibe of this clean, hip hotel with an excellent location and huge beds! The staff was also friendly and accommodating. Amazing to have a 24/7 bar reception. Had to cut my trip short and stay only for one night, but 10/10 would stay again!

It feels a bit odd initially to see the faucet in the room and the bathroom to be separated by glass windows and a curtain, but it wasn't an issue for me as a solo traveller. In fact, for me it added something to the experience. But I imagine not everyone would be comfortable with that, especially when travelling with more people.

The concierge Lukas who greeted us with smile an excellent English, organised early checkin, gave a fresh coffee while waiting and who so patiently explained all was a stand-out. I honestly can't recall better checkin service ever. The view from our room was spectacular and lifts and corridors clean and well lit. breakfast was excellent quality. Location and easy walk to the Rhine restaurants.

Came back to this hotel again because it's amazing! The location is perfect and well connected with the public transport. The rooms are modern yet cosy and equipped with all you need. The bed is extra comfortable! A special mention to the breakfast, it is worth the money as you can get unlimited cafes from the bar (with real coffee machine, real beans and so on) and the food choice is really broad from the sweet to the savoury options. The staff is young and friendly! Will come back again!
