Holiday | Couple Stayed here early April for 3 nights. First thing was immediately upgraded to a "corner" room. Large, lots of windows, coffee table/chairs in window recessed, sofa, lots of storage. Bath with (great) shower. This is s a family run hotel and all staff very friendly and welcoming, especially the lady owner. Hotel is situated next to Little Tokyo and a choice of Asian restaurants to die for, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, list goes on. Far enough away from old town to avoid noise, but 10-15 minute walk if you really want some Currywurst? No hesitation returning to this hotel when next in Dusseldorf.

Clean, spacious en suite room, working lift, good Wifi signal, excellent heating in the room. Quiet area so that you can sleep in peace. Photos on booking are similar to reality. The receiption staff were welcomg and friendly, they supplied all the necessities when needed. Great location, very close to the main train station and many shops around. The great offer they do is the public transport daily pass, you pay only 5 Euros per day to travel unlimitedly in Dusseldorf and the area around. Very practical and good. The bed (although comfy) but was making a bit of noisy sounds for light sleepers like me when rolling over I just booked again for another stay in March. Very recommended place

This is my second stay here, still a highly recommended place to stay in if you visit Dusseldorf. A very kind free of charge early check in. Thanks to the wonderful ataff. A clean en suite room equipped with all facilities as described. Excellent location close to HBF, still they are doing the 5€ daily ticket you can purchase from the reception which covers Dusseldorf transport as well as several close cities. I shall give 10 rating as I did last time

Only the bed is making noises when rolling over which is not a nice experience especially for light sleepers. Please chech the bed & mattress in (room 29)

- Reasonable price for a hotel - Quiet at night - Breakfast was good. Breakfast room staff very kind and helpful. - Bed comfortable - Plenty of hot water for the shower. There was even a bathtub! Nice! - The front staff person was helpful and very polite. - The owner suggested an Italian resto (Portofino) which had good prices and good food. The resto is about 10 minutes walk away. A perfectly suitable hotel at a fair price.

Everything was ok

Everything was up to expectation. It's no luxury hotel by any means, and it's not trying to be. The location and the price are the reason you travel there. The staff is spot on, the 24/7 reception is a plus and the hotel is very clean.

As for the negatives well, it's an OLD hotel, nothing wrong with that but just bear it in mind. See it as a time capsule ;p Oh, and the bed (at last mine) sang at every of my moves. May be due to my sheer heaviness or to the age of the bed frame. Other than that, the hotel was as expected and fulfilled its purpose nicely, would go again.

Great location, walkable to HBF (10 minutes or so) and near some great restaurants and coffee shops. Very clean rooms and great sized for a solo traveler..full sized bed, good sized bathroom.

Nothing but I do sense that staying here in the summer might be tough due to no air conditioning. They are very upfront about it..I stayed in April so no issues.

Hotel with excellent location next to centre and railway station. Rooms were large and well equipped. Breakfast was plentiful with several options to choose from.

There was some noise in the morning (due to construction and waste management I believe), but in the evening the place was surprisingly silent.

Great location, close to the main station e to Japan town; very good if you need to commute everyday using the train. Big plus: the hotel has a discount daily train ticket. The area is quiet. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were great!

Front desk was friendly, proactive and helpful with every interaction. Very clean. Comfortable beds & perfect pillows! Loved the older hotel look & atmosphere but with modern amenities. A nice change from the cookie cutter chains.

Breakfast was extremely tasty and freshly made. Room was a bit small, but for a work trip was more than enough. The room was also extremely clean and nothing looked out of place. The location was amazing as it is right next to the street full of Japanese restaurants.
