Good location about 10 minute walk from the Central railway station. About a 15 minute walk to the old town area. Room well appointed. Excellent breakfast with great selection. Staff friendly and attentive.

Not much really. Room was at front and for the most part very quiet, there was a delivery van every morning around 5 or 6am, a minor inconvenience for a few minutes and certainly wouldn't put me off staying here again. Water in the bedrooms would have been a nice touch but guests could obtain cold bottles of water from the fridge in the reception area.

Everything was good

We were given a very stylish and comfortable room on the ground floor with windows facing the back garden. It was a lovely, quiet room and the bed was super comfy. We really liked that there was 24-hour reception. The breakfast spread offered a wide choice, was freshly prepared and delicious. There was no electric kettle in our room, but we were able to get hot water for tea any time.

We loved the Hotel, the decoration, the room… Everything was really comfortable. In addition, staff was really kind and respectful, always willing to help. Breakfast at hotel was really nice since chiefs were directly attending to the customers and bringing coffee, tea or whatever to client’s table with a smile. Last, location was 20 minutes away walking from the center, which made it very fast to get to Altstadt.

231013 Hotel Sir Aston Review Must say. Best hotel regarding cleanness and furniture we have experienced.. Breakfast one ! With such a choice and quality !!! Best value for price. Only I mis a water heater in the room or a choice to pick up a cup of tea or coffee downstairs. We had it yesterday at ATRAIN Hotel in Amsterdam. Perfect !! By the way reception assisted us with hot water. Room 21 in a perfect shape. Just tell electrician that connection at the left side of the bed is not adapted straight With this minor reminder because I tried to find something, you can understand that SirAston is just Perfect ! Great location, cute rooms, kind of quirky in a good way, excellent staff. Hamid greeted me and gave me good suggestions. He was awesome. It had a nice garden in back that was underused--green, quiet, pretty. And I had a balcony, basic, but nice. It's close to the train station, but just far away to get away from the dirt, etc., of the train station. It's not superfancy neighborhood, but short walk to historic town and shopping. Right by Little Tokyo, with great restaurants. The place at the corner was good--Chinese Lantern.

The most charming hotel I have stayed as far as I remember. It shows the love and pride of its owner at every turn, down to the drainpipes of the sinks. The mattresses are amazing, too: firm, yet hugging. Internet was good, too - I could work from the room.

Oh, an accessible Nespresso machine in the public area, to have a coffee with the little cake in the room, would have been nice. I did get some coffee after asking. No snacks with the drinks in the cooler, and some more local beers.

Excellent location for us, breakfast copious, fresh and delicious. Loved the family-style atmosphere of the hotel as evidenced by the cleaning-staff singing while they were cleaning - always a good sign! Very efficient reception and no fuss about giving me an hour later check-in. Bedroom had excellent and thoughtful facilities and amenities; plenty of hangars, hairdryer, a little piece of home-made cake in the room, very good bath, vanity mirror, enough plugs.

Made welcome on arrival, helped with the luggage, parking was easy and accessible. A lot of thought had obviously gone in to the room decoration, it was a nice place to be with its own character, very different (in a good way) from corporate hotels. The breakfast was outstanding, eggs cooked to order, great choice of items on the buffet.

From the first moment we arrived and said hi to the receptionist to the last when saying bye to the housecleaning staff on the stairs - EVERYBODY where exceptionally pleasant, smily and welcoming. The place is spotless and really well decorated, the mattress was really comfy, the breakfast was well thought through and delicious! This is the first place in a very long time when someone asked - 'how did you sleep, did you sleep well?' The location is beside Little Tokyo and a pleasant walk to old town. We definitely will be back. Thank you!
