The Hotel generally

First time I had breakfast the waitress was utterly miserable as if I was asking for a blood donation rather than an extra cup of coffee. Come on, a smile would be good!

The room is very big and right across the street from the Erding train station. They will book a private shuttle to the airport for 45 Euros. There is an Italian restaurant next door and other restaurants and shops within 10 min walking distance. It is a 40 min train ride from Munich but we were willing to do that since Oktoberfest was in session and all the hotels in Munich were ridiculously priced. The breakfast is great and they have coffee and cake available in the front lobby. Asked for a room facing the back for quieter experience (photo included).

The hotel facility turned off the air conditioner on a certain date so even though it was unseasonably hot, the AC would not work in the room. We were told to just open the windows and our rooms that faced the back had no issue but my friend's room which faced front had smoke, noise and mosquitos from the streets waft in.

We always stay here when in Erding as this hotel has all the amenities we enjoy and is very close to the S bahn and bus station. This time round we were upgraded to their apartment and it was superb. The two rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and had good airconditioning in the heat of summer. It was lovely to have a balcony and to enjoy the complimentary tea/ coffee plus little treats at reception. The staff were most helpful.

We were upgraded for free to a bigger room, although we were only staying for 1 night prior to flying home, only 15/20 mins to airport in the car. Room was spacious and modern. Hotel is situated opposite railway station. There was a free carpark across the road or parking in an underground garage at the hotel for a charge. There was free tea/coffee cake and biscuits in reception but also a kettle in the room with a fridge. 5/10 minute walk into the centre of Erding with plenty of bars and restaurants.

No negatives as we were only there as a 1 night stopover.

This property exceeds most expectations for a Best Western (plus). It is located right next to the S-Bahn train station in Erding, a town outside Munich that we visited before flying out of the nearby airport, to try out the massive Spa/Sauna in town. There was flavored water and cookies in the lobby when we arrived, plus coffee in the morning (breakfast was separate and we didn't try that). The rooms were pretty decent, functional, with good WIFI, a balcony, and plenty of towels.

The airport shuttle is a bit expensive though if you have a large group the provider they use has a large van which would be perfect (about 45 Euros). There is also a bus we took back from the Therme which was an affordable way to travel, but we couldn't find a convenient option to go there, so had to take a 15 Euro taxi for a short ride.

The atomsphere, cleanliness and location of the hotel. Rooms are amazing, everything you could want. A big thank you to Meike Radloff for taking such great care of us. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Always go above and beyond. Five star treatment all the way. We can not wait to return. The free tea, coffee and snacks in the reception area is a great bonus. The standard in this hotel is consistent. Never fails to impress us.

Room had AC which none of our other rooms during our European stay had. It was wonderful to have climate control. We ordered an airport shuttle and he was prompt and the drive to the airport was very quick. The hotel was walking distance to the center of Erding and many restaurants. I would stay here again.

They had a nice coffee machine in the lobby in the morning with cookies. I which there would have been a little better breakfast snack (more nutritional).

Perfect location, about 7 mins walk into the centre where shops and restaurants are. Train station across the road, perfect to get into Munich Lovely and quiet, parking for free across the road. The hotel had AC which most don't in Germany, which was lovely and cold to sleep. Weather was hot Staff were exceptional Would definitely go again

Leaving

I loved the kind personnel. I was there to see a specialized doctor and I have a hard time with my health. They were understanding, kind and patient. I am very happy from the cleaning personnel to the person, I think was the manager who decorated the room downstairs beautifully it calmed my nightly anxiety and depression a bit. I couldn't sleep and he was the sweetest. Everyone was nice and polite and very kind. The food was excellent, as was the service, the clean room with sunlight I had. The comfortable bed. It was calm and cozy. I felt better than at home or hospital. I think they deserve a lot of praise. It was near doctor and near the station. Perfect for me but I still had a taxi called by them (good service) because I am constantly exhausted. They also woke me up for I take sleeppills and cant always hear my alarms but the higher pitched ringing phone I heard!

Cute and comfortable room, very quiet and nice furnishings. Beds were on the harder side but were comfortable enough. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly.

While we appreciated the soft lighting in the bathroom at first, we realized that it was the only lighting and that it was kind of dark in the shower and if you would want to apply some makeup, you really would be struggling. But that was the only thing we found to criticize.
