We enjoyed everything at Gästehaus Brandnerhof. In fact, this is the second time we stayed there. The first time we were unable to eat at the restaurant, but this time we did. Gästehaus Brandnerhof is by far the best hotel and restaurant we have stayed at. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room is always clean and comfortably warm (winter) and the staff is always the nicest and always attentive. In addition, the restaurant has the most incredible food (steaks, appetizers, etc.) Every meal was delicious! We highly recommend Gästehaus Brandnerhof!!!

Very pleasant stay! We really liked the hotel’s location in Garmisch – peaceful, yet within easy reach of the town center. Our room on the second floor had a balcony, was clean and cozy. The bathroom was quite small, but everything was spotless and well-maintained. The whole place smelled fresh and clean, which we really appreciated. A special thanks to the receptionist – she was very kind, helpful, and gave us great tips about the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay just outside the busy center!

An excellent place to stay in Kaltenbrunn, which is just 15 mins away from Garmish Bahnhof by bus. A serene view with a brook running nearby was really soothing after a long day of travelling. The place is just near the bus stop as well.

Just make sure you plan for reduced bus frequencies particularly in weekends. Shouldn't be a problem for people coming with their own cars.

Lovely location close to garmisch Partenkirchen and Mittenwald but very peaceful for those who like to visit the busier areas but want to get away from the crowds. The host was so friendly!

I bit shocked when we arrive to what at first look like a farm building. however the ok for an overnight stopover.

The staff was super nice. They were really cooperative and helped us with excursions as well. The rooms were super clean, the view was amazing and the parking space was ample. Loved the location as well.

Never had breakfast on location. The restaurant seemed nice enough but we did not use it as we did not want to disturb other guests with our dog and the weather never allowed to just sit outside.

Due to the remote nature of the hotel, you need a car to get to anywhere. Or bike. If it is not a problem for you, It's a great place to stay.

There was no wifi, as stated on the listing. I had remote work I had planned to do while staying here & was unable to complete that because of the untrue claim that there is wifi at this location.

Very beautiful and well equipped accomodation with nice personnel and spacious parking space. Option of amazing local breakfast and local tips from owner.

Old and little bit dirty shower (nothing serious but would expect it in a better condition). Maybe too small bed blankets for sleeping (for mountain lodge).
