The close proximity to the altstadt and the Greek restaurant offering excellent food. I was not happy being chased for payment when I was loading one of my suitcases into my car. Not very professional.

Very helpful staff, great motorcycle and cycling themed rooms, the shower cubicle with the beach scenes on the wall was excellent! good honesty bar, great breakfast - good facilities for Bikers and Cyclist

Breakfast was super - loads of options and healthy alternatives, Lovely woman who was the hostess, etc. made me feel very welcome. The location was perfect. 12 minute walk to train and less than that to the beautiful timbered and slate houses and churches. Goslar is amazing and the Rammelsburg mine should be visited!

tourist information was a bit vague and the local tourist book was presented as a gift then I was charged for it at check-out.

Excellent location to the altstadt. Also parking facilities.

The welcoming staff was friendly and helpful. Further, I really liked the "hostel-like" feel which has always been more cozy to me than a typical hotel. We had the lunch room available at all hours to enjoy our dinner and have plenty of space to work/game on our computers. I'm glad there was dedicated parking too. Lastly, for being a bit smaller in size, the hotel remained quiet despite being full.

The internet was rather complicated; our Apple devices refused to connect, or stay connected, to the wifi, whereas my Android phone had zero issues. Much of our stay was spent tethering through a work phone. The beds weren't especially supportive or comfy, our next day was rather sluggish and sleepy.

Breakfast was fine - carpark across the road with a very reasonable rate (cheaper than the official hotel car park). Good location - walking distance to town centre, plenty of shops and restaurants if one would like to eat out.

Did not like getting double charged for the stay (hotel + booking.com) - hopefully this matter will be resolved.
