For this price, it was a perfect option for a worker in transit. Simple, clean, and comfortable — exactly what was needed for a short stay. Great value.

Unfortunately, we encountered an issue during check-in. The procedure was only possible via phone call in either German or English. However, our employee, who was staying at the property while transiting through Germany, does not speak either language. As a result, it took us some time to solve the situation. He had to stop a passerby near the hostel and ask them to call the property on his behalf, using the phone at the location. We were informed that without someone speaking directly to the host by phone, the entry code to access the keys could not be provided. It was quite inconvenient.

The place is like an old villa on the outskirts of town and is very atmospheric. Everything about my private room was lovely. The WiFI was very fast, maybe because there were few other guests. It was very quiet.

The group kitchen in the hostel wasn't kept clean. I only used it to boil some water for coffee and noodles. The property is unstaffed. I did not receive instructions on check-in priot to arrival and had to make an expensive phone call when I got to the property. Hmmmm, 5 minutes on the phone adds about 15 Euros to the cost of things when you don't have a local phone plan.

If only they could improve their management they would be perfect. I had to literally fight to get my bedlinen.

Easy and pro-active communication with lessor. Flat is old fashioned but clean, everything is prepared e.g. towels, a functioning washing machine, well doing shower and full equipped kitchen. The location is close to a supermarket and a park is nearby.

I really enjoyed sitting beside the entrance door in the comfortable seat! The room setting (fairy tale) was original. I'm therefore the more curious, how do the other rooms in accordance with other topics look like...

The check-in procedure was quite weird and I would also appreciate a less noisy building, but given the price it was OK.

The room I reserved was not available so I was given a different room. This was not a problem until management called me two days later asking for the key back because another guest reserved the room. I was out of town and told him I my reservation was for another evening, which he confirmed. The room was very drafty.
