The location was excellent and right in the middle of the beautiful centre of Goslar. The restaurant was very good and staff there very friendly and professional.we loved our spacious room overlooking the old streets and church of Goslar.

The reception staff could have been a little bit more welcoming and helpful with luggage, showing us the room etc..Silvio was not exactly friendly and could not help us when we asked for some firmer pillows. Also, we have never been to a hotel where we would have to pay extra for the use of some bathrobes .The hotel service was basically not satisfactory

The hotel made us feel really happy, lovely room and Goslar is a very picturesque town. The hotel breakfast is excellent and we were lucky enough to be sat in the dining room which is a beautiful room. The geography of the hotel was difficult to learn at first because of the several buildings and courtyards but we learnt our way around and it doesn't feel so far once you know your way around.

Difficult way to get around the hotel and parking area especially when it is raining and you have to go outside to get from your room to the restaurant or the car park.

Centrally located in the city center. This hotel is impressive. In the medieval heart of the city. Staff was helpful, the selection of rooms is large and we stayed at a 2-floor apartment which was very nice and fully equipped with a kitchen, oven, etc. hotel offers (paid) parking and other extras.

Overall the hotel is great. If I had to point out a few matters for improvement: No microwave in the apartment. Not a large selection of vegetables at breakfast which is surprising for a 4 star hotel. We asked to leave the car for a couple of hours after our departure but was told it was not possible.

This was an exceptional experience. The Alte Muenze was the perfect location, the breakfast was good but the room was superb. We requested this particular room but they could not guarantee. We received the room and we were very happy. As we were checking in late, they gave us perfect instructions on how to receive the keys to our room, the parking area etc. Super helpful and friendly staff. A very idyllic and historic hotel - just positively different.

Location was great and rooms comfy and our dining room for Christmas Day was fantastic as was the service. Staff were very helpful.

The signs in the bathroom states that used towels to be put on the floor but no one collected them and we had to request more toilet paper and shower gel, this was not automatic and when they were topped up our towels still laid on the floor. Not a deal breaker but that should be attended to.

The location in the city was very nice and the breakfast was extensive. The location had charm and gave a sense of authenticity. The room was fine

We had travelled the entire day and when we finally arrived the restaurant kitchen closed at 20:00. That was the case in several restaurants in town, which was disappointing. It seemed a winter season thing, but still challenging when you travel with children and there is nowhere to have dinner.

Wonderful location with parking. Superbly helpful staff. Visit started very well when we bumped into a staff member whilst arriving up the cobbled street; on seeing us she immediately sorted out our parking spaces even though she was obviously on her way to do something else. Hotel is very long and spread out which really adds to its charm. We bought the breakfast package which we felt was excellent, lovely breakfast which, as the weather during our stay was very warm, could be taken either inside or out. Room was very spacious, bathroom large with a nice large shower. We slept with the windows open due to the un-seasonably warm weather but normally could only hear the church clock tower bells; there was more noise when the local festival was on but that was to be expected. We felt really well looked after during our stay, the staff at breakfast were always helpful even with my bad German, the barman at the hotel's White Swan bar was just great and the reception area were lovely.

Nothing - it was better than we hoped for.

We were visiting Goslar for the Weihnachtsmarkt, so the location of the hotel was absolutely perfect. You walk out the front door and are in the Weihnachtsmarkt. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh food and the room itself had lots of character and a nice balance between antique and modern. It was a little pricey, but well worth it. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful.

- The hotel is located in a number of wonderful historical buildings located in the town center next to each other. - Our room, called Palazzo, was large, very nicely decorated with antique furniture, and had a large bathroom with two sinks and a nice large shower. - I enjoyed the breakfast, served from a large and various buffet, and the kindness of the whole hotel staff. - We also received a nice surprise as we renounced the daily room cleaning, as a way to make the hotel stay more sustainable.

I liked everything, from the breakfast to the hotel room to the acceptable price for staying in such lovely hotel

Goslar is a very charming village and this hotel was in middle of the city centre with access to all main sights. The staff was very friendly and supported in finding a parking space. Plenty of options near the hotel for a minor fee. Hotel and rooms are very well kept and breakfast is very nice with a broad selection. The room was clean and spacious with a sizable modern and very clean bathroom. I would definitely come back

It took a bit to find the entrance, but other than that no negative points.
