This was my second visit to the Best Western Plus Hotel Böttcherhof in a short time, and what an experience! This hotel exceeded my expectations once again. The incredibly professional lady at the front desk remembered my name, creating an immediate warm welcome. To my delight, I was upgraded from a double room to a spacious double apartment with a kitchen – a fantastic gesture after a long journey from Sweden with my coach. As a coach driver, I greatly appreciate the practical advantages of this hotel. There’s ample free parking space for buses nearby, which makes the stay incredibly convenient. But the true highlight? The breakfast! I stay in countless hotels for work, but the breakfast here is in a league of its own – hands down the best I’ve ever had. The variety, quality, and presentation are simply unmatched.The Best Western Plus Hotel Böttcherhof combines professionalism, hospitality, and comfort in a way that’s truly rare. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended, especially for coach drivers and anyone who values a top-notch stay!

One of very few times the hotel staff read my special request and offered me an appropriate room. Very clean and comfy room. I didn't have time to try out their free massage and fitness room services, could've been good. The location is far from the hustle and bustle of the city, which keeps the area peaceful. Overall extremely satisfied customer.

The location is a bit far from the main train station with very few and infrequent bus services. If you aren't traveling by car, be ready to walk 15 minutes to the nearest U-bahn metro stop (unless you decide to use taxi of course). There was probably a problem with the temperature sensor in my room (#521). I set it at 21 degrees C, but it got hot in the room after a few hours and I had to start the air conditioner again.

I had to travel to Hamburg for a few days for work as a coach driver. There are good bus parking options near this hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the staff is helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic. Nice drinks at the bar with a friendly bar lady. The location is outside the center, but the U-bahn station is a 14-minute walk, or you can take the bus that stops right in front of the door. In the hotel lobby the bus departure times are clearly indicated. Near the hotel you can also take a nice walk along the river.

Hotel is perfectly clean and well kept. Good bar and restaurant and really nice rooms.

Not the hotel fault but there was some work in demolishing the old petrol station next to the property and the excavator started work at 6.50 in the morning. The walls were shaking by some drilling. I asked, if possible, to be moved room (not a bid deal) but there was not space. I was told that in Germany "noisy" work should start at 8 and that the hotel manage rwould havea word with the workers on the site.

Very nice, modern, comfortable hotel, everything on top level. I appreciated the hotel restaurant, since it was not possible to eat in the city without prior reservation. The staff were very professional and breakfast rich and tasty.

The only disadvantage is the remote location of the hotel, it takes some time to get to and from the city, because the bus is not going very often.

Exceeded my expecations. Great standard through and through. Very nice room with comfortable beds. Good breakfast selection. Conveniently located if you don't want to go into the city center, easy to reach from the highway.

The surrouding area is kind of industrial, not much to see, but worked well for me as I just wanted something close to the highway. Parking is 17 euro, which was a bit annoying.

We only spent one night, but the hotel seems good enough - room was clean and comfortable. They offer a great number of additional services in the bulding such as massages. It met my expectations.

The staff we met did not have a good day. We asked the receptionist if he spoke English. He confirmed but then kept switching from English to German. The next day he wanted us to pay for something but was unable to explain for what. Again - kept talking in German. About 30 minutes after we arrived to our room a cleaning lady barged in without knocking or anything. She promptly left without a word but it just seemed rude and weird.

Apartments were clean and spacious enough for two. Loved the kitchen, bathroom and storage area provided.

Being on the 7th floor and not having direct access from the elevator, having to take one elevator to the 6th floor then walking across to the other side of the building to take another elevator to the 7th floor. For a normal person this is probably not an issue, but for someone with a slight handicap, it was a struggle at times. But in the end, nice apartment for two people and two overnight.

Helpfull staff, room is clean, shower is modern and user friendly. Shower temperature is digitaly adjusted and dont fluctuate during showering. Beef steak is amazing in restaurant!!!All compliments to restaurant chef!

There is no balcony so people who smoke can have problem.

The room was clean, the receptionist was friendly, and the facility was well-maintained. The location was a bit industrial, which was nothing that a taxi ride could not solve.

The towels could be softer. Maybe that is the country's norm, but they were really rough on the skin!
