Motel 21 Hamburg Mitte is a budget hotel located within walking distance from bus stops and a Penny supermarket. The property also offers free parking onsite, often next to your room - this is VERY rare in Hamburg. My room had the basics needed in a place to stay. Should the breakfast items not suit you, the grocer is located less than a 5 minute walk away.

The location was good. It was a quiet and peaceful place and the facilities were relatively good.

The lock on the room and toilet door was problematic and had to be opened and closed with force.

I liked that it is as close to the underground

The fact that you could hear everything in the courtyard

– Small, quiet motel in a great location, just a few minutes from the U-Bahn. – Comfortable beds, clean linens, and fresh towels. – The room was clean and clearly maintained with care. – Good shower with strong hot water flow. – Fast and stable Wi-Fi.

Areas for improvement: – Some furniture and the bathroom are worn and could use renovation. – Visible mold in the bathroom — not a dealbreaker, but removing it would improve the quality of the stay.

Decent location. Lidl round the corner.

Kettle in room would have been useful. The blinds/curtains were broken so i didn’t have total privacy. Communal areas were unclean.

Although the rooms were not next to each other, it was pretty close. Night manager was very nice and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean enough and the surrounding is safe. It is definitely excellent value for money and well located. Especially if you are only sleeping there and out most of the time.

Our door was a little bit problematic with opening and closing. I think the only thing that bothered me the most was the carpeting, I think it's time to upgrade.

Window was broken . Room had damp inside. Toilet was very small. Tap water will run out of sink.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel, close to U3/U4 subway lines, which are easily connected to U3 to go to the city center of Hamburg.

The insulation of the rooms can't prevent the noise made by unpolite customers. When your neighbours are too noisy, you can't sleep well. It's a pity, but that's the truth, because of the array of the rooms. I slept well 2 nights and slept really bad 3 nights.
