Exceptional response by staff and management (ie Stephanie) when local travel information requested and finally booking taxi to airport. Best option for travel into Hamburg is walk into Rissen and Bahn into centre. Can be delayed due to issues with the service.

It was unusually hot and humid and even though I don't expect reverse cycle air conditioning in Germany, maybe a portable fan in the room may be an option if this becomes a future occurrence.

- The property is in very quiet area surrounded by nature. - Rooms are very clean and comfortable and one feels really welcome - There is a mini bar on one of the floors of the building where you leave the money for a beer or a coffee and service yourself - If you order a breakfast service in advance you will get literally a VIP treatment ! :-) I was alone having breakfast on a Sunday but I was served everything I desired !! 15 Euro is not a small amount for a breakfast but I would gladly pay the sum for such a service !! :-))

- There was a slight issue with the key which I had to receive via key box. There was actually no key. However, after waiting for ca. 20 - 30 minutes the problem was solved. Please double-check this functionality... If the weather was cold it would have been very unpleasant to wait for half an hour... :-( - There should be another way to pay for the breakfast instead of cash. Nowadays this is a bit troublesome since most of the people are paying with card / their phone. maybe Booking.com could help with some ideas...?!

Great sized room, comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly.

Would have been good to be able to make a cup of tea in our room. The communal ‘lounge’ was for smokers as well and couldn’t see a kettle to make a cuppa. Unable to stay in lounge as was very unpleasant for non-smokers.

Nothing but good things to say! Very comfortable bed, great shower, bus stop just outside the gate to bring you to the train station every 10 minutes. Great restaurants and a great supermarket near the train station.

For concert goers this property is recommended, just 2 Bus Rides away from Volksparkstadion in Hamburg especially post concert. You don't need to take the S5 Stellingen.

No Fridge in the room.

L9vely location for what we needed. Staff helpful and pleasant, easy access to train and buses

Personally we would have liked tea making facilities in the room, and the room got very hot with no access to be able to control that

The surroundings were green and quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The bus station was directly by the entrance from the property.

Very pleasant guesthouse outside of the city center. Location might be plus if you plan to enjoy nature, biking and such. If you wanna reach city center fast, this is not for you.

Additional pillows would be nice, also front desk closes pretty early.

Beautiful and safe area, within driving distance of Hamburg. Lots of little restaurants near the hotel, as well as parks. Very lush and peaceful.
