The room was small, but it had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any information about the Wi-Fi in the room, and as we were working and returning late each evening, there was no one at reception to ask. It would be really helpful to have all the key information available for guests upon arrival. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but we were kindly offered a free coffee, which was a lovely touch. The location suited our needs well, although it is quite a distance from Hamburg city centre.

There’s really nothing to dislike about this hotel. It’s a basic but good, simple business hotel. I wouldn’t choose it for a honeymoon or a romantic stay, but for business travel, it offers everything you need.

Beautiful location , peaceful and lots of greenery and bird song . Exceptional value for money . Very good breakfasts with ample choice , great coffee machine easy to operate . One could regulate the room temperature lots of warm water for showering . Prompt response to any questions before and during arrival . I would definitely recommend and return.

Not much really it’s not deluxe but everything is done thoughtfully and with care .

Within easy walking distance of the subway. (There’s a bus that actually stops right outside, although it’s quicker to walk to the subway if the bus is not immediately coming. There’s also more buses that stop just around the corner a 3 minute walk away.) Good location for subway and also (if you take the bus to the river) for river boats into the city. Very nice residential area. Quiet and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.

I've had an absolutely fantastic stay here! The staff went above and beyond, and exceeded all expectations: they were kind enough to inform guests about possible road/transport closures way in advance, and kindly warmed up my very own meals. The place itself is straight from a fairy tale, being located in a mansion in a picturesque and peaceful part of the city, you cannot believe, you are a few stations away from the rustle and bustle of Hamburg. Yes, it is not very central, but if you ended up here, you probably know it already. Comfortable beds, huge bathroom. You get access to hot water/tea and there's always fresh fruit on offer. The rooms on top floors have an adjacent balcony, which is an absolute blast, especially in good weather.

The only inconvenience was the fact that the reception hours are somewhat limited (in case you need something in th afternoon/evening, you'd need to wait until tomorrow), but it's not super unusual.

The area was tranquil and peaceful, with a lot of nature surrounding it. The room was not very big, but it was enough for the stay since we spent most of the time exploring the surroundings, and we stayed for a short time in the room.

The cleaning was not very thorough.

receptionist was so helpful and friendly ,rooms super clean and warm , cosy , prices high a little bit but the area was super peaceful and high quality, if you expect to listen your mind and rest , this hotel is really suitable.You can go for a walk around elb and for going to center of hamburg ,you should get a bus and train, also only bus but it takes 40 min

My only surprise was the hostel type environment. Ultimately I blame myself for not thoroughly reading the description. I would definitely stay again for my next HH trip. Oh yeah.... Bigger, thicker pillows please.

The location is excellent, close to nice walks and only a few minutes from Blankenese. Room size excellent and staff very helpful! Decent breakfast. Overall, very nice place to stay!

The only thing, as other customer mentioned, is that the lack of soundproofing. Other than that, all was great!
