I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is well-located, with easy access to public transport. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and check-in was smooth. My room was clean and cozy and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was simple but good. I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to others looking for affordable, accommodations in the area.

I was disappointed that there was no hot water on the first night of my stay. It was a bit uncomfortable, especially after a long day of travel. While the issue was resolved soon, it would be appreciated if the hot water situation is better managed in the future.

Friendly reception staff, good parking, large and comfortable rooms. Wonderful location, being a short walk to the water, from which the sunsets were beautiful. Tasty breakfast.

A little bit of traffic noise overnight.

The room was big and cosy, very nicely decorated, with a big balcony and window. Very lovely. It's position is quite perfect, only 500 m away from S-Bahn station Blankenese and several bus stops. There are quite a few restaurants nearby (Peter Pane was especially nice). There is a variety of choices for breakfast, accomodating both people who enjoy it savoury and those who like it sweet. There could be a little more baked goods rather than just bread but it was overall very enjoyable. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely come back when I come again to Hamburg

Our room was on the 4th floor without lift so it was a bit tiring to get there. Cleanliness could be improved, since we found our bathroom not thoroughly cleaned throughout our stay and on the day before our departure we didn't get clean towels but overall it was clean

There was no way of getting a hot drink in your room in the evening when cafes were closed

Comfy bed and bed sheets. The room was warm (I stayed in winter) and perfectly quiet. Good breakfast buffet

As others said the towels are tired and thin. Not really a problem though.

Breakfast was good. Location is good, too -- 6-minute walk from the Blankenese S-Bahn stop. Very large bathroom, bedroom was large. too. Very quiet. Process for my late check-in went smoothly.

quiet room (despite next to street), spacious, great to have third bed in separate room, comfortable beds, great location next to the Elbe and public transport to the city;

No tea/coffee maker in the room, a small fridge could be useful; the curtains had a lot of large (coffee?) stains (mostly to the bottom); some of staff can improve in friendliness (e.g. when leaving - a day earlier than planned - there was no question about the stay, only emphasizing firmly that they could not give us money back as we had booked via booking com - though we did not even ask for this)

The room was clean and the furniture comfortable.

My room was in the second building down the street from the main hotel building, one side over the garage entrance and the other toward the main street, so there was lots of vehicle noise from 6 a.m. until 1 a.m.

Location was nice. A little out from the town center but in a great, quiet neighborhood and a short train ride or a very nice, but a little long, walk along the river into the town center.

Greater choice at breakfast please, would have preferred our room to not at the front of the hotel.
