The hotel is situated in a peaceful, pleasant part of Hamburg where you can really relax. A bank is right across the road, Lidl is a couple of doors down and there are very good restaurants nearby. It’s a German hotel run by Germans so you get a genuine German experience. It’s a few minutes’ walk to the train station so all parts of Hamburg are easily accessible since the public transport system is incredible (and very cheap). This is one of the few hotels who include breakfast as standard and it was very enjoyable. Great value in such a lovely area.

Communication before arrival was terrible, they couldn’t even answer to my question can i check in around 23. And then when i arrived around 23, i contacted check in service via phone call and they told me i’m gonna be at different address than this hotel and even being told to find out some other accommodation while waiting outside in the rain. After first misunderstandings everything was good, room was perfect, bad was great and room quit. The breakfast was very nice too and the staff at the breakfast were very polite and nice, so overall with bad beginning i enjoyed staying at this place

Room was good, specie's and clean. Bathroom excellent. One day there was problem with Hot water. Since I am vegetarian, breakfast was not up to the expectations. Very calm area surrounded with residence. Well connected with Meto Railway and Bus facility

The staff was friendly and willing to help! My flight was cancelled last minute and they helped me extend my stay and ensure that I had the same room for another night! Overall, I am very happy with my stay at Hotel Blankenese!

I loved the room I was staying in as well as the staff. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Everything is fine with the hotel. The hotel people are very nice , friendly and helpful .

No Elevator ( lift ) as it is difficult to carry the baggage to the higher floor.
