Very good location with multiple restaurants within walking distance. Bar menu at the hotel was reasonable with quite a few choices - food was actually quite palatable . Reception was very friendly and helpful . Room was clean , bright with cozy bathroom . Very comfortable bed . Elevator from underground garage to rooms . Our room 545 had a nice view . Good inside bicycle parking but make sure you bring your own locks . Breakfast pricey but adequate .

Breakfast was pricey . Could have used a secure bike cage in their underground parking garage . Minimal storage availability in room . Music in lobby and in breakfast area was a bit too new wave and head bangy !!

The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were super clean and cosy! We received a welcome drink when we checked in! The pizzas are fab! Hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us. Our first night we found our room to be a little noisy as our room was right next to the lift and it dinged every time someone got out. I asked for a different room the next morning and the staff were super accommodating. We also asked for extra pillows which were delivered to our room.

We were not aware until checking out that there is a city tax in Hamburg. We had to pay an extra €11.56 for 4 nights in the hotel.

The bed was uncomfortable, needs more pillows and the mattress kept sliding away from the wall. Not keen on the location, very little on your doorstep.

This is a new and very modern hotel. The area was quiet, as was the room, which made for a peaceful stay. I also appreciated the spacious bathroom. The underground parking was a great bonus, as the price was very reasonable compared to other options in the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The location wasn't ideal. It's quite far from the city center and the Rathaus, and there were a lot of construction sites around the hotel. As a result, there weren't many places to eat nearby.

I have stayed at several other hotels at Berliner Tor and The Moxy is by far the best. It’s a great location for heading into Hamburg central or getting to the airport. Berliner Tor area is perhaps a little rough around the edges but I never felt uneasy. I particularly loved the welcoming staff, functional rooms that have everything you might need and the bar/reception area. Welcome cocktail on arrival (either alcoholic or not) went down a treat. Easy check-in and check-out. Wished I had stayed here on earlier stays. The vibe is cool and chic.

I found the bed to be a little too firm for my liking. Only one pillow per guest which was also not ideal - however I didn’t ask for another one, so that’s my fault.

Сlean room, plenty of towels. Shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, hand soap in abundance. Good noise isolation, neither the neighbours nor the toilet can be heard. The room has a wall with hooks and hangers, also blackout curtains are a nice addition. It is very convenient that you can leave your luggage in the storage room at the hotel on the day of departure, free of charge. There is also a metro stop on lines S and U nearby. There is also a large space downstairs, with sofas, places to work, board games and a minibar with drinks. I recommend it for the next stop!

Very soft pillows, in my opinion, but this is a subjective opinion, for someone it may be just right. There is construction going on opposite the hotel, but we were in the room only at night, so I don't know if it's audible during the day or not. In any case, it does not depend on the hotel.

It was great! And so, so clean. There was even a free welcome drink the first night. And the staff was so helpful with recommendations about food and activities. And the menu card for food at the hotel was reasonably priced and delicious 👌 The common area was nice. There's a bakery 600 meters from the hotel where the breakfast is really, really cheap compared to the €21 breakfast buffet at the hotel - but other than that, it was a pretty long walk into the city. We used the electric scooters which can be found almost anywhere. And thankfully, their English was great!

Parking was either horrible or terribly expensive. No trashcan in the room or in the bathroom, only recycling - not great whilst on a period or if you just have trash in general.

Fairly new place, room looked good, clear. Very welcoming staff, comfortable bed and facilities, room at a quiet inner court. Not too far from where things are happening in town, a lot of public transport close by

Two evening there we dance evenings where outsiders came and had to pay for, in the lobby. Full, noisy, no space left for the guests to just chill there… what a weird concept. No water cooker in the room or fridge is always missed when staying more nights in a row.

We love to stay in the quirky Moxy. Decorations are always fun and it makes it a child friendly place to stay. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast buffet really good and accommodates diets well. I like having an on site restaurant and bar, the welcome drink is a nice touch. Staff was very kind.

Lots of construction in the area, was a bit annoying when accessing public transport. Evening menu is bar food style and would have liked healthier options.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always happy to help, which made the experience even more pleasant. The room was cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable – I slept really well. The location is convenient, just a 7-minute walk from the station. Breakfast was also great, especially the scrambled eggs – really tasty! Would definitely stay again.
