Everything was fine except one of the receptionist's behavior

One man, receptionist's behavior. He was very strict and no welcoming at the beginning. His attitude was like a teacher at the classroom to teach something to a little child in a not pleasant way. Need more training for receptionists for customer service and be kind and smile during check in. He was thinking he was doing a rocket science when was with computer. He seems to be agitated and too busy and tired.

The hotel deserves a much better rating than it has as it is a lovely hotel situated perfectly on one of the main train stops for S Bahn and UBahn, we had no issues getting anywhere in Hamburg while we were here. We booked an economy room which are the smallest room, but it was perfect for us as we were there to explore the city and just needed a bed and bathroom to shower. The bar in the evenings was also a great place to come home to after a day of exploring to chill out.

No complaints just one small note that the hairdryer in the room didn't work and either did the iron in the room. Maybe a small bit of advice to upgrade the shower screens as they didnt really stop water going everywhere. Other than this we loved our stay here.

We booked a studio style room and it was pretty good - large, with wardrobe, fridge, coffee machine, modern TV and double windows, with blinds. It is on a quiet side of Hamburg I would say, but still quite close to central train and bus stations, as well as to suburban train and metro lines. There is a big department store nearby as well and plenty of cafes.

The beds are a little old, especially the mattresses - definitely need to be updated, as they were failing in corners. Not so much that it disrupted sleep though, to be fair. Saw a bunch of negative reviews on this hotel before booking but decided to risk it nonetheless and was pretty happy with the results. It seems like it is a hit-or-miss here when it comes to rooms. I recommend booking a studio if you can

Our room was small, but very clean, which is the most important thing. The staff was kind and welcoming. Also the location was very good. The cleaning service was also very satisfying.

Not all the personnel working at the reception had a good level of English. Also, the cost of the breakfast was a little too high.

Absolutely perfect place! Reception is 24/7 open and ready to help you! Rooms are nice and quiet! We got room service every day and its a big bonus! This hotel is 2 min walk from metro station and 10 min walk from central metro station (just 2 metro stops). There is MacDonals near, markets and burgers literally 1 min walk! Very quiet location! Had wonderful time there

The hotel is beautiful. Very well decorated. The staff were welcoming. The location is fab, right by the train station and walking distance to everything you need.

The room stated a large double bed however we had 2 single beds that were pushed together which made it more difficult to get comfortable.

The hotel as a parking garage and is very close to station Berliner Tor ( maybe 3 minute walk). Room 606 is big enough, very clean, and quiet. The extra facilities in the rooms are good (tea, coffee, slippers, shoe polish set, etc). The breakfast is very good.

The hotel room was warm, but opening a window helped. Maybe in the summer it will be too hot, since the room doesn’t have an air-conditioning.

It was well situated near Berlin Tor station and so easy access to city in 10 mins.

The room needs more light because there were 3 desk lamps and one ceiling light near the door. Arriving in the Winter when it was already dark, meant unlocking and unpacking cases was more difficult than expected. Rather like working in a dimly lit cave. The shower was very small but it was clean and warm. The bed was a bit hard for my back and it took three days before I slept properly.

The location was nice, it was cozy, it had all the amenities with a coffee machine and plenty of space to sit. A mini fridge was also in the room which was practical to have.

It wasn’t necessarily the cleanest, and some things didn’t work the best like the TV and the remote, but nothing crazy.

After reading negative comments from recent guests, we had been a bit sceptical. Therefore, our delight to find your hotel really great and most of all 'value for money. Will stay in April again for a week. Our advice to prospective guests, don't listen to comments with a purpose to be completely untrue and even hurtful

maybe a separate shower. Nothing else
