Staff were approachable, diligent, kept the place clean and stocked well. Facilities are enough for travellers, however, a kettle in the room will make a big difference, specially after a long day of walking on seeing the city. Food was prepared well, bonus points are the cooked hot food prepared fresh everyday, loved the cooked beans with some fresh added herbs and onions. Pancakes, yummy. Fresh fruits with variety. Options of juices. The best is, options of teas which are not in the bag, eco friendly. Definitely will recommend to everyone.

I will still recommend the hotel as still need to buy tickets to travel to different areas in the city anyway. Not too far to the main central train station. Only three stops away. A bit of a walk to the train station, about 7-9 mins.

The most comfortable bed I've slept on in my life (the blankets and pillows too); the room was very clean (and they clean your room daily). The employees are great, super helpful receptionists (thanks Pavel, give him a raise pls), they told us all about the city and what's worth visiting. You have 2 S Bahn stations nearby(6-8 min walk), Berliner Tor and Hammerbrook so it's fairly easy to go out. Much appreciate the vault in the room, a must for every hotel in my opinion. I would definitely come back here. Thank you!

The room was very clean although it is small for the price you pay. We even had a main road facing window door that had grills for safety. It was nice to open it for ventilation. I really liked the bathroom walls as they had some interesting facts/information written down for tourists. We took the recommendations as it was out first time in Hamburg as we were here for leisure. The elevators and other common areas on ground floor had great aesthetics too. The bed linens were of very comfortable fabric.

1) Wifi has open access which is very insecure. Please put password to it atleast. 2) Electric kettle and disposable slippers were not provided in the room. 3) Dustbins don't have plastic bags in it so we had to throw things directly inside which was weird for us. 4) We couldn't call at the reception as there is no landline provided in the room. We didn't go to the reception to ask for these missing items as we were very tired.

The bathroom was fantastic – spacious, well laid out, with great water pressure. The lobby staff was friendly, and the overall design of the hotel was pleasant.

The rooms were very small, leaving no space to properly place luggage. Communication was difficult as the staff at the lobby didn’t speak proper English, which was surprising for a big city like Hamburg and a large hotel chain like Holiday Inn. Also, there was no makeup mirror at a suitable height for my wife, which made things inconvenient.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room big and most important very quiet. I also liked (since I didn’t book breakfast) you could get a coffee downstairs and just take it up in your room. The staff was also very easy going and always helpful. The train was close by which made going around the city very easy.

It’s not a didn’t like, more like something that wasn’t for me: the breakfast price is 19 euro - for me it’s too much.

Quite a basic room to sleep in, not so much to spend time there. Good soundproofing, quiet room. Staff was very friendly. Trains and buses stop nearby.

The TV was old and did not support mirroring your phone to it, also not possible to watch Youtube/Netflix etc on it. No kettle or refrigerator in the room, altough it was not promised but would be a good addition.

Clean, nice accommodation worth its money. Good breakfast. 25 minutes walk to the central train station, 30 to the city center, 25 minutes train ride to the airport. Overall, nice exerience.

There's no kettle in the room, if you want some tea, you need to go downstairs to the receiption to get some hot water.

The hotel is new and modern. The beds were very comfortable! We stayed 4 nights and the room was cleaned almost every day. There is option to skip cleaning and you receive a voucher for free drinks at the lobby bar. Bathroom was nice. The location is very for tourists wanting to sightsee as there is very close train station Hammersbrook which takes you in the city center for a couple of minutes. In a walking distance there is also a Kaufland, Apotheke and another big station Berliner Tor for busses and trains with several lines. But . The price was very good

There was lots of dust in the room, don't if it was from the blankets and curtains or the A/C or most probably coming from outside as there was some construction going on in the street. This is the main issue in otherwise clean room. The room is also a bit too small but the price, location and quality makes up for it. The late check-in. The area around the hotel is not so nice, still 5-10 minutes and you are in the city center

Location was perfect for reaching my workplace in 5 minutes of walk. Breakfast was quite good, automatic pancake machine was fun thing to try out. Rooms are minimalistic and clean. A free drink option instead of room cleaning is also quite a pleasant feature.

Was really missing some sort of a small fridge and also some sort of teapot which is a common thing at any other hotel. On breakfast after scraping out the last bits of scrambled egg, my friends had to wait for a refill for about 15 minutes

The hotel is nice for a Hamburg city break. The room was small, but cozy and had a nice design. Everything was super clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. It's a 10 min walk from the metro station and close to 2 S-Bahn stations, one of which goes directly to the airport . We would stay here again.
