Central to rail station, polite & efficient staff, good breakfast choices. Piano player in the bar was good too

Gorgeous room in a gorgeous hotel, in a great location close to the Main Station! The staff were very helpful, and it gave off an old school hotel vibe in a good way. The shower was excellent quality, and there was no noise from the outside.

My only complaint was that the hotel was weirdly laid out, and was a little confusing. Improved signage may help with that in the future, and dispute loads of lifts I'm not sure whether the hotel is completely step free. These are very minor suggestions for the future.

Great location; very close to the central station (right across the road). After checking in I recieved a free pass voucher for all public transportation in Hamburg for 3 days, which was incredible. Rich breakfast with a lot to choose from.

The Spa is epic and I absolutely loved the Water Slide. Such a great place to visit with kids! Particularly given the bad weather in Hamburg

Some rooms are still quite old school as the hotel is undergoing extensive renovations.

The sauna facility and food were great and the staff were also kind.

It is pretty big property and was so confused to in - out. In fact I got lost the way back to my room from restaurant.

Everything was excellent with the exception of the breakfast. It was beautifully laid out and we thought this will be good, unfortunately the hot breakfast was cold and the plates were icy cold. I pointed this out in the dining room and got a grunt from the I assume chef. Everything was the same the morning after so I mentioned it to reception and they said they would put in a report. For the whole two weeks we were there the hot breakfast hotplate and plates were cold this is why the rating from us is down.

Ideal location for train trip; friendly staff & good breakfast

It is great that it is just opposite the station. I came in on a rainy day and just jumped over the street into the hotel. And the next morning took the train to airport. Great as well that they provide free train ticket for local transport. Breakfast and room are nice as well.
