The breakfast was really good. Plenty of variety to suit all. And we could get an early breakfast to enable us to travel early. The location of the hotel, right next to both the Bus and the train stations is superb.

The location is very convenient if you arrive by bus or train, the breakfast is acceptable and the balance between price and quality is fair. Even tough the neighborhood is not the best, we didn´t feel unsecure outside when arriving to the hotel.

The bed should be changed soon. The breakfast was ok, but the second day we wanted to seat close to the window and the waitress moved us (in a very unpolite way) to another table because we were only 2 people, while there were many other tables that were empty and there were two tables with only one person close to the window, which is really unfair. I think staff can really improve how they treat guests.

The man at the reception was great. he helped me a lot. check in was very fast, everything was ready. big and wide bed, room was clean, maybe a small fridge was missing in the room. breakfast was excellent. even though at the time of my visit breakfast was provided in another hotel about 600 m away, it was great. plenty of everything, often replenished and kept clean. the best thing was the machine for small pancakes, they were excellent. the fried bacon and scrambled eggs were excellent

Grand old building with friendly, helpful staff, surprisingly large room, comfortable bed, good-sized desk and clothes-storage, and a spotlessly clean bathroom. Our room was well sound-insulated and quiet. Nice breakfast and options. Located very close to the station, with fantastic transport connections to all areas, easy walking distance from museums, and good nearby dining options.

Poor internet/wifi. The public area immediately outside the hotel looks seedy especially later in the day, but we found it to be well policed, safe, and cleaned each morning.

Because of hotel renovations our family room became 2 twins (fine, and very sympathetically explained) and the free breakfast was at the sister hotel 5 mins away (fantastic breakfast!). We interacted with 3 or 4 reception staff and they were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Value for money: 10 is an understatement.

The location is very convenient for Hamburg's main station (and bus terminal), but what a sad, grim immediate neighbourhood.

Was once a grand hotel. Staricase was very beautiful. For a very cheap hotel this place was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as good as a much more expensive hotel. Room was clean and comfortable.

Little bit of street noise. Area is very shady. I was back from dinner by 10pm and it was still very busy so that was fine, but might have been scarier at 2am.

The main advantage of this accommodation is its location, right outside the Hamburg Hbh train and metro station. This way you can visit the city, but you can also go by train to other cities easily. The hotel is OK, clean, very good beds, hot water, heat, functional installations. Very good breakfast, great orange juice!

The price seemed a bit high to me, considering that the room was small, there was no refrigerator in the room, no balcony. I stayed 3 nights, the big towels were not changed, only the small ones. At breakfast, the coffee was not of good quality. Regarding the city, in general, from the window the impression left was of an unsafe city/area, streets with a lot of commotion, noise at night, police, so that after dark we were afraid to leave the hotel.

Very close to the train station which is exellent as I stayed there only as a stopover one night (arrived late and left early) on my way to Italy. Clean hotel, small but good room. Everything you need for a short stay.

Nothing really; as it is close to the station and cheap, you cannot expect more. The area right around the Hamburg station is not nice, lots of bums, drug addicts etc, also the square right outside, so I would not stay at any hotel in that area if I was touristing Hamburg. As soon as you enter the hotel, it is nice and feels safe though.

It is near to the Hbf, so location wise, it was great. The room and the bathroom were very clean.

WiFi signal is not that good. There is no water cooker or tea/coffee in the room. I had a cold when I was there, and a bit of warm water or tea could have been really helpful. Also, if you open the window, there is a continuous some sort of machine sound which can get very noisy at night.

The hotel was not far from the main train station (Hbf) so very convenient and easy to find. The room was surprisingly large and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom was quite large and spotlessly clean. There was a good selection to choose from for breakfast including continental options, cereals and a variety of eggs. There was a vending machine across from the reception area offering beers, wine, soft drinks, crisps and chocolate. Good value for money.

The was a bin directly outside the front door so you have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to leave the hotel.
