It was a very short notice reservation due to some challenges on my route, so I was glad finding something very near to the Hbf, with breakfast included. The room was small, but was enough for a one-night stay. The street was crowded even around midnight, but the balcony door gave a good soundproofing, I really appreciated that. The ambiance of the hotel is very vintage, I felt myself as a time-traveler, especially during the breakfast, it was a nice experience, I liked it. I also appreciate the kindness of the stuff, both gents at the night and during the morning were very kind and attentive.

The shared shower "room" was very tiny, so prepare for wearing only the towel and be quick from and to your room. I know that's not something that is easy to change, but for transparency, I share that the lack of elevator makes a bit challenging to go to the higher floors with the baggages.

This ain’t the Ritz, but it’s a short walk from Hamburg train station. It’s clean and staff take great pride in what they do. We were in a bind when our hotel canceled our reservation with only 12 hours notice. The gentlemen running the place were kind, understanding and helpful. Especially when several other nearby hotels would not help. The price was very reasonable.

The neighborhood is a little rough. There is no elevator. Our room was on the 5th floor. The decor is not their strong suit. But beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Everything worked.

The Room Was spacious, Clean, and had everything needed for a stay. It's in a Prime Location just a few steps away from Hamburg HBF. Staff were friendly and spoke English, which was nice.

Very Limited Options for Breakfast. Hamburg HBF is not so nice place to stay, I did not feel safe when walking through the streets. Lots of People shouting on the street at night Police Siren whole night, which made the stay not so ideal. However, I cannot complain about anything specific about the Hotel, but the street around it is not so ideal

Host was friendly. Walking distance to train as we had luggage. Breakfast and coffee were excellent! We had an early train to catch, and the host kindly packed us a take away breakfast to eat on the train. Comfortable bed but room a little small for 3 adults and 3 lots of luggage.

The neighbourhood. Being tourists, we were unsure how 'safe' the area was as drugs and homeless people were highly visible. Being an older (and quaint hotel) meant no lift, therefore was hard to take heavy luggage upstairs.

Hotel Village, the staff, amazing, everyone there exceeded their job description. Very warm, friendly and helpful people. I was impressed by their great valuable and excellent customer service. They even helped me bring my baggages to my room on the third floor. I was exhausted from my trip and that was a great help, It meant the world to me, Iwas really exhausted.! Very neat and reliable place, clean and safe to be in. Clean towels, clean bathrooms, shower, service to clean the rooms if you wanted to, you were even asked. Just amazing, I wasn't expecting all that attention and quality service. A five Star place.! Whenever, I am in need of a place to stay and even when my family would visit me, I have the best place for them in town: Hotel Village. Birgit, Seyedi, Bahir, and Kevin, thank you from the bottom of my heart..! You certainly make an impact in my experience in Hamburg, Germany. Everything was great..!

the receptionist was very kind. a nice room,good bed,sound proof when it came to the other rooms

the shower curtain was black in the bottom,it was very hot,so a fridge for cold drinks would have bin nice..a lot of noise from cars and addicts outside,screaming,argueimg etc ,BUT buy some earplugs,problem solved.

The room was of good size for the three of us and it was well kept and clean.the location is great as it’s close by the main rail network and food shops close by.

With there being no lift the stairs are the not the best if your on the top two floors to be climbing especially with any luggage.

We told them we didn't want breakfast cause we were going out till late and wanted to sleep until check-out, but they kept the breakfast open for us, and warmed up gluten-free bread last minute :)) Nice touch with the mirror in the ceiling, and a strategically built shower:)) With the windows closed you block out the noise from the streets

Not the nicest area, a bit noisy. A bit expensive for one night, but I guess they raised it for the schlager-festival (horrible)

The convenience of central station, incredibly cheap yet clean and has basic amenities, hotel entrance requires a key.

The street is a s***hole. The skidrow of Hamburg. I saw a homeless man take a crap across the street. Tweakers rule the roost. During the night, random Turkish noises were belted out from the street level. No idea what they were doing chilling at 2 A.M. on a work night... Didn't feel unsafe but if I were a single woman or came with family I would not stay here.

Great decor with vibrant colours. Breakfast was excellent. Location close to main train station and plenty of fresh food shopping close by.

Smell of cigarettes in the stair well was a bit off-putting. Broken tiles on the floor in the ensuite.
