Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was really nice, shower worked well. The transport pass was a nice touch (valid the day you check in plus 2 days after). Location is excellent for transport links - across the road from the main train station with S+U-bahn access, 5 minutes walk to the main bus station and several local bus stops within walking distance.

It's on a main street next to the station so it was quite noisy a lot of the time. The rooms are a little tired and old-fashioned, could do with a spruce. Room entry is with a physical key which you hand in to reception each time you leave - this wasn't a huge issue but a keycard is much more convenient

The bed was so comfortable good pillows and linen too. Room was clean. BISMARK allowed us to lock our luggage in a luggage room whilst we went out to explore Hamburg until our room was available. Nice touches of tissues toiletries and a nail set .

The room we stayed in had us taking a lift to first floor then struggled up and down steps to the lift in the adjoining part of the hotel. They provided a fan but air con would of been better. Windows could not be opened dye to the noise of people shouting and arguing in the the early hours down in the street below.

I was luckily able to get my room before check in time officially started. It was great that the hotel gave us free ticket for the local transport! I liked the radiator in my room which I could adjust to make my room warmer. Breakfast was good. There was a glass water bottle in the room which could be filled with drinking water at the 1rst floor. I liked the old fancy style of the hotel building. The location right next to the main railwaystation is handy.

The stucture of the building is a bit complicated, and some stairs could not be avoided, so be prepared to carry your luggage a bit (even if there are elevators between the main floors). The street outside was a bit noisy at night, but it wasn't problem with earplugs.

Clean, comfortable, and close to Hamburg Central train station. Quiet even though on a busy street with many restaurants, bars, etc. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Complimentary public transportation pass for our stay.

Getting to hotel room was not easy. Hotel has 2 elevators, but neither went from ground floor to the floor for our room. We had to take one elevator to 1st floor, walk with luggage down 6-7 steps, then walk to a different elevator to get to our room. Not very good for anyone with mobility issues. That said, I’m sure the hotel staff will accommodate any special needs, if requested in advance.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially at the reception. The hotel itself is very conveniently located and offers a pretty good level of comfort. I had a small single room, which was fine for my purposes (I basically only slept there).

In order to access my room on the second floor I had to cross an area which inclined walking down several steps and I was carrying some heavy stuff - I am sure the staff would have helped, but I didn’t bother to ask. There was a small ramp, but really unusable in my case.

Great central location opposite the main train station with access to trams, buses and metro. Hotel provides a free ticket to public transport for the duration of the stay. Room was comfortable, clean and with adjustable heating controls. Bathroom had both a shower and a bath. A complimentary safe is provided in each room. There is 24 hour reception and the staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.

No anti-slip math in the bath/shower. The elevator configuration to the upper floors is cumbersome and confusing.

The location of the hotel was excellent, directly outside of the railway station, just crossing the street. Also the room given to us had an excellent location. I was travelling with a heavy suitcase and my companion had low mobility, and the hotel personnel got us a easy accessible room with a good view. The room and hotel in general were comfortable. The hotel personnel gave us a very service, answering kindly to our questions and supporting us when needed. We got breakfast at the hotel, and it had a good diversity of sweet and salty options.

The shower was a bit too small for one of the travellers in my party.

Hotel was right across the street from Hamburg central station. Easy access for transportation. Room overlooked main street and stationed, despite being close to station, was NEVER noisy. Staff were very friendly and willing to help you with any questions you had. Breakfast was excellent -coffee,tea, juices, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages, rolls. Breakfast opens at 6:00 AM allowing you an early start for the day. Multiple restaurants close by for evening meals.

The hotel is just 20 meters from the central station. Despite its proximity to the station, bus stops, and restaurants, it's remarkably quiet. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean.

"I would have appreciated a bit more space in the room and a larger bed, as the single bed felt too small for me. I understand there may be security reasons, but it would have been nice to be able to access the balcony.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The staff was polite, friendly and always happy to assist us. The room we stayed in was on the 5th floor , overlooking the station and the town. The room itself was comfortable, cleaned everyday and we enjoyed our stay there. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient if you plan on using public transportation to move around the city as it is directly opposite the central station of the city. The hotel provided a 3day pass for public transportation which was extremely useful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this hotel.

There are two things that should be taken into account. First, the wifi isn’t working for the 5th floor, a wifi extender should be installed for this floor. Secondly, even though the location of the hotel is extremely convenient for transportation, people should be aware that it can get really busy and loud, even during the night. We didn’t really mind but this varies from person to person and could pose a problem to others.
