The hotel is conveniently located near the main railway station (Hamburg Hauptbahnhof), only in 3 minutes on foot. Nearby lots of cafés and restaurants, shops, malls etc. In a 5-minute walk, you can observe amazing Alster Lake. The hotel is pretty small, but rooms are clean and furnished. Nice breakfast with typical European (Germany) food buns, eggs (scrambled, boiled), sausages, cheese, musli, tomatoes, cucumbers, and tinned fruit, coffee, tea, juices.

The receptionist, elderly lady, was extremely unfriendly. She didn't want to check in my family and said to wait approx.30 minutes. We were waiting for more than 1 hour. She finished her workday and left, but before leaving, she hadn't said anything to another receptionist and us. Finally, in more than 1 hour, we were accepted really quickly with a new receptionist. That was the first and not so perfect impression about the hotel because of that particular Frau.

The room was so close to the train station and Good food options. Breakfast was nice simple buffet style.

Only thing I didn't like was that if you left the hotel you had to hand your room key back in. It just felt awkward handing a key in everytime we left and came back in. Also our room was an emergency exit. Next time I would ask for a different room. I just felt a little uneasy knowing if someone pushes the emergency anyone can come through. I doubt anyone would do it unless a real emergency but still.

The hotel was even closer to the train station that I thought: i arrived on the S Bahn from the Airport and it was not even 5 minutes away with lots of late night food stands open by the station. Arrived quite late and the gentleman at the desk checked me in smoothly and quickly. My room was super close to the Reception (#10) and quirky in a cozy way. All the necessities were provided and they had an adaptator at the desk for my phone charger. While the room was facing the street, I wasn't disturbed by noise or light and had a good sleep in the mezzanine. Breakfast was tasty with lots of meats, cheese, bread rolls, teas, waters and juices. Good start of the day. The staff was on hand to refill the buffet quickly. If needed, they were selling drinks and snacks at the Reception but I didn't use those.

Nothing, it was a great value for money and a good rest.

The location is very convenient being near to the railway station. The room was compact but cosy and warm, There was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very nice. The value for money was excellent. The staff were very nice and helpful too. I would happily stay again and much hope to do so.

A slightly bigger room would have been good with room for a kettle. However, I'm not complaining as we had a lovely stay and I thank the hotel for that.

No air conditioning in the rooms My window would not fully open because it was broken on the hinge. I was far to hot in the room and ended up having a cold shower to cool me down. It would have been nice to have croissants and pastries on the breakfast menu

Lovely buffet breakfast, friendly multi-lingual staff, comfortable, warm and peaceful room, value for money all round package, close to shopping, restaurants and bars, 5 minutes walking distance to Hamburg Central Train Station

Wifi signal strength could be improved in the bedrooms, possibly by placing a wireless access point in the hallway on every floor. Also replacing the flexable hose on shower with a solid piped a rain shower head so there is less over spray. Please note none of this is a complaint, it is just some helpful suggestions.

It is so close the central train station; this is very important. Around the hotel there are some important museums. You can reach them very easily. Rooms were very clean. The staff who works in the hotel also was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enough for us because there were many different selections as a food.

Everything. Especially the staff, a very pleasant and caring woman had a good suggestion for a question I had asked. Humanitarian.

There were stairs to get into the place and it was a tight squeeze in the elevator for 2 persons and the luggage. But we made do and it was worth it for a great accomodations.

Room was basic but adequate for our needs. Plenty of breakfast food and coffee and lovely fresh rolls. The location was excellent - near to Central Station and all underground and local train stations. Also on local bus routes so we were able to travel around Hamburg very easily.

There was nothing to dislike but a coffee/tea tray in the room would have been good!

Stag party - Room was a bit tight but clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was really good, had everything you needed from meats to cheeses, fresh bread, juice and coffee. Staff were helpful.

Location was a little away from the main drag but taxi rides were plenty
