The room was quite well furnished with plenty of storage space. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Check-out was at 12 o’clock. The location was in a very interesting area (I didn’t know that Reeperbahn Street is a ,,landmark,, in Hamburg). It might not be entirely suitable for families with children, but it’s fine for younger customers. Sometimes we met strange people, but we didn’t feel in danger. However, the location itself is good.

I would also list the location as a negative because we arrived on Sunday at 7 AM and there were still a lot of strange people around the hotel and trash everywhere. However, by 3 PM, there was no sign of it. I missed having a fridge and shampoo in the room (there was one product, but I couldn’t tell if it was soap or shampoo).

Helpful staff, good parking, tasty breakfast, comfortable room and bathroom. In general everything was good.

Check the location before booking. The neighborhood is a bit loud and feels unsafe.

The location was perfect for me as I was going to the Kaiserkeller which was a minutes walk away. The metro station is also very close by. The staff are friendly, the whole place is very clean & the breakfast was great. (As a lone woman I was a bit apprehensive about being in the red light district but I felt very safe walking around & going in the pub).

Very nice Hotel. Very clean. The cleaning service is also good. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is excellent 👍. Safe parking (Underground). If anyone wants to stay alone. That will be a great Hotel and can enjoy yourself.

The place is not perfect for the family. Especially for Asian people (Culture). Not for others. The night party sounds hearing holl nicht. So you cannot sleep perfectly. *This Hotel is suitable for adults and couples.

Me and 3 friends were staying at the hotel for a concert at Gruenspan so it was very closeby, just 2-3 minutes walking distance, which was a huge plus! The rooms was nice and comfortable.

The only small complaint is that the pillows were a bit too soft for my personal taste, but other than that, nothing to complan about.

from arriving at the hotel the management and staff were very accommodating and helpful. breakfast was great everything I could wish for. location was just amazing. and many memories for me. I had first visited Hamburg and Grosse Freiheit Strasse in 1968. we we played the Star Club.. I will stay here again next time I visit...

Very comfy room and has a nice bathroom. Staying in the quiet room made the difference as Reeperbahn can be very loud and crowded at night. Perfect location with a metro station to the airport/central station within a few minutes walk. Ali is a lifesaver and a fantastic staff!

1-The entrance stairs of the apartment cause trouble for strollers and elderly people or wheelchairs. 2-Not having a coffee machine for the convenience of passengers

Breakfast was amazing, everything was super fresh (bread was warm at 11am!). Front desk works 24/7 and they are very helpful with tips and recommendations what to visit/see/eat in Hamburg. Water pressure in the shower is really good.

Location of the hotel is in the busiest street in the city, be prepared to get some earplugs and melatonin pills. Other than that we have no complaints, we had a really pleasant stay at St. Josephs hotel.

The breakfast was great with both white and whole wheat bread buns, variety of juices, scrambles eggs and different things to put on your bread buns (cheese/meat products). Breakfast was also served at good times (until 10 during the week, until 11:30 on the weekends). Rooms were as described with comfortable beds and very spacious in general. Very close to the metro station that is connected to a metro line that reaches almost all places in city centre (including Hamburg Hbf and Hamburg-Harburg Hbf), which we found very practical. Hotel lies in the middle of Hamburg's red light district, which is amazing if your main goal is to party et cetera.

I had expected some amenities in the form of shampoo/soap in the bathroom, but they didn't have these. Indeed the rooms offer a "city view", but this is city view also a noisy party street (Reeperbahn). This isn't bad in itself, but beware if you are a light sleeper (bring ear plugs!) or if partying is not your main purpose in Hamburg. Although I personally thought breakfast was really good, vegetarians would pretty much be limited to cheese and scrambled eggs, and I don't think a vegan person would be able to eat much.
