Great location. Main station, shops, restaurants, opera all in walking distance. You will find plenty cheaper breakfast around but treat yourself at least once - their breakfast is actually value for money. It is great. The location isn't greatly noisy but if you are a light sleeper, shut the windows and run the air con. Beds were comfortable. Decor feels a little dated perhaps, but bathrooms were modern. At their restaurant, stick to the carte du jour. Nice mini bar service.

Staff could be a tad more attentive. There are steps into reception and the two staff at reception watched on unmoved as my wife tried to heave her suitcase up. I had requested that a double be made out as a twin. It had not been done. After the first receptionist acknowledged my request, the second remained reluctant to do anything about it. They made it happen eventually. I was left puzzled whether they had bothered had I not requested it beforehand. There is no gym on site, though they can provide you with a temp membership at a nearby gym upon request.

This hotel is very well located just couple of meters from the main station, which makes it perfect for staying if you have trains connecting or flights to catch. I stayed there for one night. Room was clean, and well equipped, the mini bar is for free and has drinks to keep it nice. Loved the addition of fan to the room, made it easy for summer day. The staffs were super friendly, and were kind enough to accept early morning check out which was good for me. If I am coming back to Hannover I am gonna stay there for sure.

Wifi was pretty shady, kept on reconnecting, but I guess the weather was not good so I don't blame them fully. The bed was not so comfortable and the sheets had marks. As I stayed only for a night I didn't bother much but if for more days I definitely will ask for better sheets.

Overall it's a good hotel. Some small hair was on the toilet seat but besides that the room was very comfortable and clean, the reception is also very friendly. The breakfast buffet can have more variety in terms of warm food, such as adding omelets or pancakes to the buffet. But the food was pretty delicious and the coffee is very good. The location is also such a great benefit, I would definitely book again, but perhaps I expected a better attention to details from a 4-star hotel

unfortunately one-time-use slippers were not offered in the room and they never gave them to me when I asked for them. This is not the first hotel I experience the lack of slippers at, do they expect people to walk around barefoot on the dirty carpet? Walk around with outdoor shoes all the time? I don't know.

My single room was very spacious, comfortable and lovely decorated. The Bed was extremely comfortable. I liked that I could open the windows. The Mini-bar Fridge contained Wine, Beer, Juice, Water, Snack, all replenished each day, all included in hotel room price !! I was very happy to have a Kettle with supply of Tea/Coffee/Milk too. I made use of the Free Transfer car from the Airport to the Hotel, excellent !! For me the location was perfect, I could easily walk to all attractions in Hannover. Train Station close by, I used Train to get to beautiful town of Celle. I did not have Breakfast. I did have drinks in evening sitting outside Bar/Restaurant there was a very warm atmosphere amongst other customers, the Staff were very Friendly and helpful. The Receptionists and Housekeepers were also very Friendly and Helpful, nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Thank you very much for a lovely stay, when in Hannover, I will stay again.

Room was big and clean, location great, opposite central train station

It was quite expensive, £300 for 2 nights.

The location was wonderful, right across from the central station in the city center. I loved the Old World charm and traditional elegance of the hotel with the modern amenities. The room was small but lovely and perfect for my needs. The complimentary beverages available in each room were a thoughtful and appreciated touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel over the ugly, generic chain hotels in the area and would gladly stay there again.

The carpet in the sleeping room was a bit dingy and could use a refresh but it didn't detract from the overall charm of the room.

As the name says: the hotel is very centrally located in Hanover, next to the railway station, with most attractions within walking distance. Good breakfast buffet. The hotel has been here since 1889, so it is more 'traditional' than 'modern'.

The hotel could explain the parking arrangements with the local parking garages better in its communication after booking. Also, the size of the single room was a bit small and it was hard to find a wall plug to charge the phone.

Lovely clean spacious room with comfortable beds albeit with square pillows - they were comfortable nonetheless. We liked the old school windows you could open right up. The bathroom was nice and spacious too with everything we needed. We didn't partake in the breakfast because I was aware of all the lovely bakeries in the nearby Hauptbahnhof which were definitely cheaper and actually more convenient for us (pick up and go!). Take this as a 9.5.

The radiator didn't seem to heat up a lot. It may just be with the time of year, it wasn't *too* cold outside yet

The situation is excellent for rail travellers since the hotel faces the station across the Square. It is close to the Tourist Information Office from which hop-on, hop-off busses run. I had a superbly comfortable suite for a very reasonable price. The dinner menu was good and the food well cooked and tasty. I really appreciated the ice cream choices. In general, a first rate old style hotel.

At breakfast, I could only find hard-boiled eggs. Had I asked, I probably would have been given soft. The staff were very helpful, so this complaint turns into a compliment!

Blinds are not super effective but what mostly annoyed me was the layout- so the bathroom shower of the room next door to us is just next to our beds . We heard everytime someone turned on the lights there , luckily only that. Still nothing a good eye mask for the lights and some eat plugs can’t fix. Wonderful value for money nevertheless!!
