The location was very good as it was within walking distance to all the sights as well as an abundance of eateries. The room was very clean even though the dark wall- to- wall carpet didn't make it look that way. Shower was good with standard soap and shampoo provided. The bed was very comfortable and even though the window in the room was facing the street it was quiet during the night and we slept well. The breakfast room was very dark because of the dark wood in the furniture but the breakfast was sufficient with a variety of cold cuts and cheese as well as cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. The parking behind the gates are €10/ day and well worth it as it was difficult finding a parking in the surrounding area. The premises are very clean. The staff is very hospitable and friendly and will provide you with drinking water if you don't drink tap water.

We do hope you find a solution to minimise the amount of plastic bottles used.

Arrived around 5:40pm all locked, sign on door with phone number…didn’t answer. Phone number on Booking.com didn’t answer. 10 mins later another couple arrived, they couldn’t get a responses either. Getting very frustrated out in the 1C weather…FINSLLY after 15 minutes a girl arrived, thought it another customer as she opened door but didn’t say anything. We followed to get out of the cold to find it was the reception lady! NO APOLOGY or explanation! Far out BAD SERVICE. But that was the only negative, great stay.

Very good price for what you get! Check in was very easy and the staff helpful. The room was very spacious and warm, the area all around is in general very very quiet. Very close to the central station.

Common areas (corridors, stairs etc) were not exactly the cleanest, but otherwise alright. The pillows were honestly really uncomfortable, but I guess that's a thing with German pillows because it's not the first time I see this...

Good location for the main station and town centre, pleasant and helpful staff, good buffet breakfast always replenished, adequate room size, use of fridge and a kettle on request, functional furniture* excellent for storage and hanging clothes *(some people might find it a little old fashioned, but much more convenient than some of the latest modern fittings). Would stay there again.

In hot weather when the windows are open, there may be some noise coming out of the street nearby where there are quite a few cafes open late in the evening. The Turkish supermarkets nearby have a limited range of continental food, best to go the new shopping centre near the station for basic European food. Ideal though for more exotic menus.

The hotel is convenient to everything. 6 min walk to the main train station, very easy to find. Shopping and tourist sights are all within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

I did not eat the breakfast so cannot comment. The room was small but comfortable, and the location was excellent. My traveling companion asked for a way to get hot water as she loves tea, and the receptionist gave us a tea kettle to use. Very nice of her.

Very welcoming reception. Invited us to park bikes under stairs. Breakfast buffet very adequate, if a bit simlpe. Very convenient for the town sights. Room and bathroom large. Bed comfortable.

This is an older hotel. The decor and csrpets are very dated. This is reflected in the price. If you are not looking for luxe, then this hotel is good value.

A decent size single room with a mini fridge. You need to ask for the electric kettle from reception if your need one. it’s super close by the shopping district and has great cafes, various cuisines restaurants, pharmacies and supermarket. Tourist attractions are within walking distance from hotel.

The hairdryer was spoilt when I tried to use it during my 1st night but I couldn’t get a replacement as it was after 10 pm and there was no receptionist. I slept with my wet hair on the first night 😰

The hotel is within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) and very close to the Steintor station on the Underground/tram network. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast buffet was most enjoyable.

I can't think of any negatives.

Private parking (+9€) helps to hide your car from unwelt zone politics. Fare enough hotel. Breakfast meniu is good, but poor if u had children.

No xtra radiator in bathroom. Small parking place. No ketle in the room. If you are a tourist when u need to keep Unwelt zone politic rules (actual if fine 100€ is too big for u).
