I was slightly nervous after reading some of the reviews here, but we were happy with this place. Room was outdated, but clean, spacious, comfortable. We did not even meet anyone from the Team, but door was open, key was there, no problems. Can't get easier than this. We stayed here 1 night because we had an early flight before the first bus. It's just 3k walk to the airport, you can go on a gravel road through the fields, no need to take the main road. Location is very safe (we live in Karlsruhe, so we know the area). Very convenient when there are no buses in the morning. We would stay here again before flying.

80Euro/night for "middle of nowhere" seems a bit heavy at first, but that's just the good old law of supply and demand. Airport with close few hotels and no public transport...all fair in the end. Like I wrote above, we didn't see a single person from the staff - we had zero concern with this, it was easy and well organized, just if you need help and guidance, maybe not the best place for you.

Saw one of the nicest sunrises :-) My room was looking towards the East, into the foothills of the Black Forest. Additionally, the bathroom window let in the sun directly into the shower, which made the morning routine feel like being at the beach.
