The bed was comfy and bathroom relatively clean.

Although we knew that the reception would be closed when we arrived at 8:30 pm, it seemed almost entirely deserted. No lights, no people, we didn't even hear any other guests! However, the hotel had sent us very clear instructions on how to gain entry and park our car, so we managed to let ourselves in and find our room--which was on the 2nd floor (3rd floor to Americans) with no elevator. The next morning there was a very nice woman serving breakfast, which was plentiful--cereals, yogurt, breads, cheese and meats, juice and a coffee machine. She also checked us out.

Great room, in fact, much more than a room, it was a kitchenette with lots of appliances. The room was very quiet, airy and clean. Everything looked new. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Centrally located, near train stations and sites of interest.

There could have been the option of vegan 'milk' for breakfast. The hotel is in an older building without elevator, but they are clear about that in their online description. I stayed on second floor and was ok for me, but I imagine for those with knee problems it would be very difficult to walk up that many steps, even to 1st floor, especially if carrying luggage.

Perfect location, near station and centre. Spatious room, with everything provided, even small kitchenette. Good breakfast, not the standardised 'American' offer. Free parking for your car was very useful too.

It is al very impersonal: reception closes at 2 pm., check-in is via locker (which worked really well), you hardly see any staff (even very few at breakfast). Also: in a hotel you'd expect the room to be made very day: I was surprised by the sheet of paper simply stating that this service 'currently' was not provided.

The room was fab - clean, big, quiet and had all amenities. Bed and shower were good. Parking on site at no extra cost. Location close to the centre so it's easy to walk everywhere. Instructions to get in are very helpful. Breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly.

Clean and comfortable room. Especially nice was the free parking spot behind the house. Check in and check out was super easy. Location was quiet and close to the centre of the town.

Not too much space between the toilet and shower.

A nice large room with a high ceiling. Clean room.. Very convenient location to the train station and buses connecting to the city.The room was facing the backyard and it was rather quiet. Close proximity to many restaurants/food options.

No elevator. Wished that there was air-conditioning.

A very comfortable place in the beautiful historic center of Jena. You can easily explore the city on foot.

Not really anything to comment on, however I believe that in the summer the rooms can get very warm as there is no air conditioning
