The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, and throughout the day free coffee, tea, and both still and sparkling water were available in the hotel lobby. The location is convenient — there’s a tram stop right in front of the hotel. Nevertheless, it’s about a 15–20 minute walk to the city center and around 15 minutes to the Central Station. There’s a supermarket next door and some good restaurants in the area. Excellent Wi-Fi as well. Overall, a great stay and very good value for money.

Best bed and pillows of our two weeks in Europe! Almost like home. And truly the largest breakfast buffet we have seen in 6 years! It was amazing! What a gem this hotel is. Convenient walk from the train, easy to walk to the Fine Art Gallery and the Palace Museum. Great location. Friendly helpful staff. They kept our luggage all day after our check out until our evening train. My photo is a view from our windows of the street scene.

Noise from the floor above, moving furniture woke me up the first night, for hours. The next morning I was assured the family checked out. Someone the second night also was up at night. If I stayed again, I'd want you be on the upper floors.

The hotel is really nice, clean and has a very good location - the nearby streets have beautiful architecture and it was a good starting point for our personal walk tour through sights of Karlsruhe. The bathroom was exceptionally nice. And also breakfast was very nicely managed - with a really broad range of options. The hotel has really soon check in (14:00 if I remember correctly) and late check out (11:00) - which was very appreciated. There is also an area at the reception where you can make yourself a cup of coffee or tea, which is a nice touch. I think this is a nice idea and prefer it this way actually (with one big machine of high quality), rather than to have a cheap coffee machine at each hotel room. The receptionists were very professional, kind and helpful. They explained the parking options right away during check in: 1) there is a paid garage that is quite narrow and 2) there is also a free rooftop parking available - the receptionist opens the entryway for the car, and the rooftop parking is accesible from the second floor of the hotel, although the entrance from the roof to the hotel is not marked very well - it is kinda in the middle of the parking area (not on the sides). We also visited the hotel bar, having received the 50% off your first drink voucher that comes with each booking (per person). The hotel bar was very nicely furnished, and the staff seemed very knowledgeable about the drinks, and service was good.

Previous reviews reported some difficulties with air conditioning in some rooms. Our room 112 the a/c was not working.  Ms Namchuk at the reception was terrific! She immediately had housekeeping check it for us and then assigned us to a new room where the air conditioning was Great!  Strong wifi.  Clean comfortable room and bed.  Great shower.  Safe garage parking for bikes.  Fabulous breakfast! Beautiful lobby offering free coffee.

Friendly staff, a clean and comfortable room, free parking, good wifi, easy check-in & out, and a very nice breakfast buffet. We were also offered a discounted drink at the bar upon arrival.

On paper (or on Google Maps), the hotel seemed to have a great location between the parks, the zoo and the city center. However, the hotel is on a busy street in no man's land - it seemed to take 20mins to walk either to the main pedestrian zone, to the parks, restaurants or anywhere else we wanted to go. There is very little pedestrian traffic after the shops close, which makes it a bit unsettling after dark.

I enjoyed the staff and the inside beauty and comfort of the hotel. Great place to spend sometime at and be treated special. I hope they continue to offer the service and accomodations at there wonderful rates.

I only felt sorry that the area around the hotel was not more popular. The Hotel and its staff were great. They were second to none. Keep up the wonderful work.

I forgot to bring my sanitary bag, and contacted to hotel to check if they found it. After 3days, they sent it to me(of course I paid it). Pretty nice and kind staffs they are! And it was easy to access Rooftop garage. Breakfast was good as well.

Some noise when opened windows because U-Bahn railway is just right in front of hotel. But no problem there’s air conditioner in the room.

This hotel was very reasonable priced with breakfast included. I had read some reviews on this hotel and was not looking forward to staying but what a surprise i got it was fantastic. Somewhere safe in the locked carpark for our bikes. very welcoming staff. Free coffee and chilled water in reception. Our room was very good and clean with everything we needed and i think there was coffee making facilities too. the breakfast the next was superb and one of the best we had all holidays with a great choice including smoked salmon, hot breakfast options fruit and continental options. we stayed in about 20 different hotels on this trip and this was our cheapest and pretty much the best especially for the money. would definitely like to stay again.

Lovely little hotel. Nice room with good facilities. Unlimited access to coffee/tea/water and pastries in the reception area. Well stocked bar. Really good breakfast with lots of choice.

Bit of a treck from the train station....but we found the bus to get back. Area not the greatest but plenty of bars/ restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk.

The very good breakfast, the cocktail bar, the very comfortable bed, the well equipped gym, the goodies in the room, the location ! It is a very nice and well maintained hotel.

It felt a bit old furnished at the beginning, the 2 single blankets...why?? same food in the breakfast everyday, no fish were served in breakfast, the cocktail bar has no beers (except for Carlsberg).
