The hotel is situated in a lovely spot right on the River Fulda and the R1 cycle route. I stayed for one night while going the R1 cycle and it was perfect for my needs. Scenic location, bike storage, good restaurant and bar - and a decent breakfast in the morning. I had a river view room with a great view - and it was lovely to sit on the balcony with the view. Great value for money.

Nothing for me. But some travellers may tho k it’s too quiet or far out from Kassel.

Nice area with riverside. Hotel has it's own sauna and pool with warm water, for additional cost which is not so expensive (10 Eur) it's very nice to relax there. Also nice restaurant where you can choose really tasty meals and drinks. Nice personnel. Good bathroom.

Price for car parking is too expensive. Also room isolation should be better, as you can hear neighbours.

Location is good. Quiet inside and out. Bed was comfortable so we slept very well. I think check out is 10 am...it could be 11 so we don't have to rush as breakfast is also done at 10.am Plenty of parking We will be back

The balcony could definitely use some work. Floorboards are very old and some should be replaced for safety. The little table and chair should also be replaced. The top of table has holes since it's plastic.

It’s really unique and a perfect location to hide through the weekend, it’s very cosy with bright and spacious rooms, a great view, very clean . Great value too.

The staff is very German, goes with the old fashioned clientele. I forgot my passport and it was a bit of a fuss ..I showed the receptionist my driving licence and health insurance card so they had to handle me the keys but it was such a fuss. That said it’s a countryside resort and I am from the city, maybe I was a bit unusual, that’s part of the adventure! None the less I highly recommend the hotel.

this is my favorite hotel in Germany with a view of the river, a big thank you to the girls at the reception, a brunette and a blonde, they picked out a room for me according to my wishes.Valerik

Great location when traveling with a pet. Was only there for a night stay while making a long drive. Rooms are a little outdated but still found very comfortable. Also had direct access to outside, which was great with the dog. Staff was friendly and helpful.

If staying for longer, would have needed more items for the bathroom (just ordinary soap was provided).

The river view was stunning. The room was huge.

There was no sound proofing. You could hear every single person walking down the hall or poem a door. The drive way was scary with snow and ice. No safe way to walk down to hotel entrance.

The accommodation for our motorcycles was great and convenient. The staff was extremely helpful and the restaurant was very convenient. Breakfast was well prepared.

We didn't have any thing that we could have been better.

The location is just great. Prepayment is not required. The booking process is simple and customer friendly.

Sound insulation is far from excellent. Some rooms are subject to renovation. Smoking is allowed on adjacent non-insulated balconies.

Room had a balcony overlooking the river with stunning views. The breakfast would cater for anyone as such a good variety.

The steps going up to the accommodation were in need of repair as loose / broken tiles could cause an accident esp in the wet.
