The Hotel is well positioned, very close to the main City centre, 10 minutes casual walk and you're there. My allocated room was spotlessly clean, nice comfy bed, nice functional bathroom, everything i required. breakfast is simple continental style tho there's something for every taste. All in all a great Hotel at a reasonable price, plenty of parking close by.

The staff was very helpful and friendly: on the day I travelled, the train service to Kassel experienced a serious problem (train line closed for an undefined laps of time due to a fire). I called the hotel and explained that I was unable to arrive as planned and would certainly arrive only after 15:00 (when on that day exceptionally the reception would be already closed). Without hesitation, the staff made available my room key in the key box next to the entrance door and all went very well! The bed was very comfortable: although declared "single room", the bed was very large and the mattrass was very comfortable (which I find rare these days in the middle-class hotel category). Location: I find the location ideal as it's very close to a tramway/bus stop (and not too far from the city centre). Most importantly, one of the tramways runs directly to the train station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (main high-speed train [ICE] train station in Kassel). In the other direction, there is a direct bus (No 100) that goes to the Kassel airport (Kassel-Calden). Perfect match!! The breakfast is a buffet breakfast. It's not very diversified but ok - it very well fills your stomach.

Unfortunately the area around is a little bit shady. You have to walk under ground to cross the street. Local do not recommend to walk there when it gets dark. For this reason, you have to wait until the road is empty from the cars so that you can cross the street while avoiding the underground tunnel

It's a fine hotel very close to the University and the central part, the location is very comfortable, there is a small frigobar in the room.

There was no kettle in the room, and since it gets very cold in Kassel, I felt a lack of it.

The breakfast offered by the friendly staff was excellent for beginning the day. The staff was friendly during my stay in Kassel. The location of the hostel is excellent. I like the architecture of the hostel along with the comfort of the bed in the room that I occupied during my stay in Kassel.

Room was clean, comfortable and had everything for short stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Noises from corridor and from outside can be disturbing.

The reception staff was very accomodating, patient and helpful with local transportation options, sightseeing suggestions and the like.

Good hotel, comfortable beds, nice room with refridgeirator. Near a tram/bus stop with frequent services, perfect for onwards travel on a public transport journey!
