Great breakfast! Loved the breakfast. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke good English. Staff gave us a recommendation for an Italian Restaurant, L'Osteria, in town which was a very good Italian restaurant. We appreciated that. We liked having two twin size duvets, rather than one large king sized duvet for the bed.

There were just sheers at the windows and no "black-out" curtains. The lights from the parking lot were VERY annoying all night and made it difficult to sleep.

Staff were very helpful when I asked if I could change my room to one that was not facing the main road. The receptionist also gave me succinct and accurate guidance for public transport to local attractions.

Walls between rooms were very thin. I could hear the man in the neighbouring room cough and could listen to his phone calls.

The room was in a new part of the building, so everything was brand new. The room was decently equipped (TV, desk, hair dryer, free water, comfy bed - except for pillows). It was quiet. Good location, good breakfast, quick check in and check out and very friendly staff.

Lack of any design or character in the room or bathroom. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not great - with some soft cotton wool inside. Not much of the view out of the window. Annoying electric switched (touch operated) It would be great, if there was a kettle and a minibar in the room. In my opinion it was also a tad expensive (around €120 for a single occupancy) for what it was.

The location is great. The room was small but comfortable and clean with everything one might need. The breakfast was also great!

There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel where you could drink or eat something during the day or at night. There is a fridge at the reception where you can buy beer, water and some juices, though. A coffee/tea machine in the room would be nice.

There were multiple things we'd very much liked... The bathroom was very big, nice and clean. Also the bed was nice, we've slept like roses. Excellent breakfast, so much choice and tasted really good. We had a nice view on the church across the street. I think we couldn't find a better hotel than this!!

Only one thing, the air-conditioned system had a little mold in it. That should be cleaned.

Centrally-located, both free and paid parking at/near the hotel, spacious room, perfect bathroom/shower, and a wonderful breakfast. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and courteous. We would stay here again. Highly recommended!!

The room was clean, well heated and of a good size. The buffet breakfast was varied and very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the hotel was in the centre of the town.

No complaints

The air conditioning made the room very comfortable during a spell where outside temperatures surpassed 30 °C (85 °F). The floor was clean even underneath the bed. There were two pillows, one of which was large and firm and excellent for my preference -- much better than at most other hotels I had stayed at. There was a free bottle of water in the room. The hotel is just outside "Lutherplatz" tram stop, which unfortunately was not served while I was there due to staff shortages resulting in differed tram lines, but even so, "Am Stern" is not far away on foot and is served by many different trams, making it easy to get just about anywhere you want.

The timer for the light in the bathroom was a bit too short, I felt, but fortunately waving your arm was enough to make the light go back on if you had to be on the toilet for longer than the designers had anticipated. As I had to leave early on the Sunday, I would have liked if the breakfast buffet opened earlier (at the same time as on weekdays would have been fine for me).

Perfect location, very close to the center of Kassel. Convenient parking space. The room was huge and really nice decorated (we love the blueish colours in the walls). Breakfast was SUPERB.

Nothing negative to mention

The breakfast room was very spacious and the breakfast itself was generous, with a large variety of food and fruits. Items included different yoghourts, cheese, meat, eggs scrambled or boiled, mushrooms, vegetables, danish buns and all kinds of bread, rolls, toast etc.

the rooms in the new wing of the hotel had kind of interactive lighting, this caused that at night the rooms were not completely dark. if you went to the bathroom the light immediately switch on at the highest level and the humidity pump also started working, creating noise.
