This is a family-run hotel that cares about its guests. The hotel is well-situated for visits to Koblenz and the Moselle Valley. Breakfasts were very good and we looked forward to them. The back of the hotel opens onto a garden patio and we ate dinner out there one night. Excellent food and a very nice atmosphere. There is reliable and very reasonably-priced bus service into the center of Koblenz (about 10 minutes from the hotel), so we didn't need to drive into Koblenz ourselves. Thanks to Sabina for that information! We did drive to Winningen, a town in the Moselle valley that was a short drive from the hotel (about 10 km). The valley is absolutely beautiful and a trip to Winningen is recommended as a short day trip.

Parking on the premises is limited. It's not possible to reserve a parking space before arrival. The hotel staff told us that we could park on Koblenzerstrasse street for free, but this turned out not to be the case. We got a ticket for parking on the street, but the staff told us not to worry about it. They did find us a parking space that we used for two nights, which was very good of them, so it all worked out. The information about parking needs to be clearer.

It was a perfect 2 day stay for us in Koblenz. The hotel is located in a small street with very visible signs to the hotel. There is dedicated parking for the hotel guests, however limited in capacity. It would be good to confirm with the owners prior to your arrival. The rooms are in excellent conditions and with proper ventilation. The bathrooms are clean with all required toiletries. The host is a cheerful couple who are very welcoming and speaks perfect English in addition to their German skills. The breakfast is delicious with many options to choose from. I would highly recommend to include breakfast when booking. Public transport(bus) is within a 2min walking distance that takes you to Koblenz centre. You could also walk along the beautiful Moselle-Rhein river path (3.5km approx.) to reach Koblenz centre. I highly recommend a stay at this place if you plan to visit Koblenz.

The bed is double, however, the mattress is two single bed which could be a bit uncomfortable for some couples

Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff, room very clean and large, a lovely traditional feel. In the evening we enjoyed having a few drinks in the Bar, meals were lovely and as the late Sept weather was so fine, we were lucky enough to enjoy the outdoor dining area. Breakfast accomodated all tastes, unhurried and with the option of having a packed breakfast to take away on request. A particular nice touch was the central drinks area, operating on an Honesty basis, so one can have a refreshing drink out of normal hours. The local rail station is just a short walk away and in 10 minutes you are at Koblenz Central Station. From there a short walk accesses most of the Sights in the City. Certainly a hotel we would stay In again and recommend.

Breakfast and cleanliness outstanding. The staff are friendly, professional and exceptionally helpful. Katrin on reception bent over backwards to help me with a problem with our dog and also helped me as I left my mobile phone in the room after my departure, what a gem she is.

If I was being really picky I would have liked a small fridge in the room and a kettle would have been nice.

Individual quirky traditional German style decor. Clean spacious room. Super friendly staff & good choice for breakfast. Lovely courtyard garden, honesty bar & decent Italian restaurant only a few doors away where we could order take out food & eat at the hotel where cutlery was provided. Felt very welcome

Location not central but would not have been a problem had we not been staying over on a Sunday because the restaurant was closed which was disappointing as the reviews about the food were good. We liked the place & would’ve stayed on site the whole evening but for this. Only a minor criticism as there was a great Italian restaurant a few doors up

Very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was large and comfortable with a good shower. Breakfast choices were varied with hot and cold options. Great tea selection, too. Situated in a lovely area and only a 10-minute walk from the train station.

It was all great. I think the bedroom lamp didn't work but I wasn't too worried and I forgot to let the reception know.

Quiet location away from the center of town. Bus a few steps from the hotel takes you directly to town center, where there is two indoor malls. Great for cyclist with secure garage and all you need to do maintenance on a bicycle. Good food at their restaurant with good ambiance. Family run hotel and every effort is made to please the guests.

Super helpful and friendly and staff. We only had a rough idea of what we wanted to do in the area, so the recommendations were very useful. Good restaurant (we had dinner onsite once). Though not central within Koblenz, the location was convenient enough - close to a local train stop, a bus stop, or a very pleasant river-side walk from the downtown area.

N/A - was very happy with the stay. Just note that it is a quiet, not very central area. So there are not a lot of restaurants/cafes/etc within a super-short walking distance.

Warm welcome from the owners and staff, the ability to store your bikes in the garage and facilities for the bike(tool station). The location is great for cycling the Mosel and Rhine cycle paths. A great selection for breakfast to set you up for the day, a nice evening meal in the beer garden is available limited menu but a good take away a few doors down the road with good choices. Overall a really nice place to stay I would definitely go again.

The breakfast was good. Also the staff was very nice and spoke very good english. Finally the rooms were clean and the beds tidy and comforatble. Also simply good facilities overall.

It was slightly expensive, so I'd say value for money can be better. Also it was a little bit far outside of the city center (1 hour walk). Although there are enough taxi's to bring you wherever you want so it is not a real problem.
