Beautiful property, the pictures don’t do it justice! Clean and spacious. Fantastic bath and comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast, good selection. The manager was fantastic and very helpful!

Some of the staff were INCREDIBLY rude. We have travelled through many countries in Europe and we are heavily tattooed and don’t dress like we have money, this is the only place we were treated like that was important. We were made to feel slightly uncomfortable. We noticed no one else was treated this way. I’ve never had someone roll their eyes at me and speak to me with such disdain like the young bar man did. I am an extremely well mannered person and I was hurt by his attitude! We were going to eat dinner with you but chose against it after that. The sauna needs to be pre organised half an hour before which wasn’t made clear. The phone has no reception button, so we missed out opportunity, if it says it opens at 7, you would think you could simply go in!

Perfectly located from the concert arena, literally directly across the street and couldn’t be easier to access, just cross the cross walk and you are there. The hotel was easy to find, check in at the front desk was easy everything was clean, updated well laid out. Parking is located directly below the hotel and we had a small car so that worked. If I had a larger car it would have been difficult. My son and I were able to walk from the hotel to downtown Cologne in 25 minutes and there is a beautiful pedestrian path that google maps guides you on Unfortunately our concert was cancelled but glad we came all the way out to the hotel to see the city. Hotel breakfast was absolutely perfect, buffet style with everything you could want, fresh, healthy, indulgent options.

I had to order a kettle which was brought to my room. But alas, there were only 2 wine glasses in my room. By the time I realised it, it was my booked sauna slot. All that I appreciate. But I have a small confession to make. I took one yellow plastic glass upstairs, to my room, and used it for brewing and drinking the tea. I am sure that the housekeeping will find it and whether return to its original location, downstairs, in the spa area before the sauna cabin, or possibly leave it to the room 401 which would benefit of a cup or stronger glass for drinking. The two wine glasses were not fit for hot water. That said, thank you for everything. Loved every bit of your accommodation venue. And the breakfast. And the nice server gentleman who smiled at me even when passing by my chair in the check-out area. Kind and polite, made one feel at home.

Please could you have a cup for drinking in the room. Two wine glasses were a nice touch, but they were not helpful for hot beverages.

Fantastic hotel with very helpful and warm staff. The room was spacious. We all absolutely enjoyed the stay.

Breakfast options were primarily meat-based. Very disappointing for vegetarians, and clearly not welcoming if you were Vegan. Would have been nice to be considerate of at least a few dietary needs. No storage options for baggage was provided. We had to use the seating/ bench to unpack the bags, which is not ideal in my opinion. Also, not enough space to store the bags in the wardrobe after hanging jackets and other clothes.

It's an elegant hotel, which seemed to mainly have business peope staying when I was there. The location is fairly good for the centre of Cologone, maybe 30 mins wlak to the Cathedral or one stop from the nearby Messe / Deutz station. My room was on the top floor, at the end of winding corridor. The room size was OK, but it was well furnished with a really nice bathroom. Despite having a main road outside I couldn't hear the traffic. The breakfast selection was good and there was a complementary beer in the fridge!

No major concerns, although I noted that the Smart TV wouldn't connect to the internet, so could only be used for regular TV. I imagine the place is busy when there is a big event at the arena, opposite, but it was quiet when I was there.

That is by far one if the best hotels I've stayed in. Perfect location right before the Lanxess Arena if you're heading to a concert, 2 min. walk from the U-bahn (metro) station where lines 1 and 9 will take you downtown in about 10 minutes, so you can enjoy all the shops, EURO 2024 fanzone and public viewings, a short walk to the chocolate, and the sports museums, the Dom (cathedral), Museum Ludwig, all the great pubs by the river. The comfort room was large and clean, all staff were super nice and helpful, breakfast was fresh and tasty, with great variety, and the building itself is spectacular. I will definitely consider staying there again when I'm back to Cologne.

I chose this hotel for its fascinating history and unique architecture, and it did not disappoint. One thoughtful feature is the heating lamp in the bathroom. It keeps you warm after a shower and can even help dry your clothes if you get caught in the rain. Quite area. The breakfast buffet is very extensive. The dining room is the heart of the hotel, very spacious, well-organized, and bright. The hotel is well-equipped.

Great room and bathroom, hot shower with great pressure, incredibly soft and comfortable towels. The bathroom has a bathtub and chromotherapy (which impressed us), as well as shampoo and soap with a high standard of aromas and quality. We stayed in a room at the end of the corridor with huge windows and very nice light in the room. Delicious bed! Very varied, tasty and high quality breakfast!

Don't park your car on the side street if you don't have the green sticker that authorizes you to have a car in Koln. Even if you pay for parking at the totem, you will still receive a fine of 100 euros!

The hotel is across the road to the Lanxess Arena where we were going to attend a concert. The Arena parking is cheaper than many other parking facilities in Köln! We moved around taking the tram. Closest stop was only about 100m away! Proximity was perfect!

Less enjoyable: we must have stayed when there must have been some sort of corporate event. There was quite a crowd. Not that it bothered our stay

I booked the room for my husband. The good aspects are that the building was nice, the breakfast was good, and the reception staff was there 24 hours a day. The check-in and check-out processes were fast, and the room had a good space.

He raised these negative aspects: the pillows were uncomfortable, the blanket was small, and the amenities were not that great.
