This is a very cute hotel directly on the Rhine waterfront. It's a great location for those who plan to enjoy the spring/summer nightlife as the hotel is in near some of the most lively squares! I would not recommend this hotel for those who want to go to bed prior to 1am-2am as the noise on the street is intense and without A/C the windows need to stay open when its warm. For those who wish to partake the nightlife, this is a great choice! The noise is probably not a problem in the winter months with the windows closed. The hotel stairs are steep and antique, so don't drink past the point...or get a 1st floor room if there are any...

A/C in the room would be nice, but I knew this problem going in.

Very central location, great for reaching all the points of interest in the city. Great walks in the town centre. The apartment is spacious and even though it says no kitchen, there’s actually a great fully equipped kitchenette with the fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and a kettle, we cooked meals for 6 people there with no problem. We felt very welcome being greeted by the manager of the hotel and lead to the apartment, which is very close to the hotel.

The shower needs doing something about it. At the moment of our stay (End of August 2024) the water only had 2 temperatures: boiling hot or cold. Initially it cold, only warms up if set to the hottest setting, but quickly becomes really hot. Any attempt moving to the neutral setting results in the water becoming cold, so it seems that boiler needs looking at. It is worth mentioning that 2 rooms of the apartment face big and busy square with lots of cafes with tables outside. The square is quite noisy, though the windows block sounds very well and all the cafes close around 11 pm. So it wasn’t a big problem, but I think someone planning to stay here must know this in advance.

Really great location from which to visit the Xmas markets and the Cathedral

I knew there wasn't a kitchen, but there was a fridge, kettle and crockery/cutlery However, there was no sink to clean things in - one would need to use the bathroom sink which is very unhygienic. Surely if they provide all the items, they should also have a small sink? The sign on process was cumbersome - we had booked on the App but still needed to fill in 2 paper forms.

I had a very good room on the river side with look to Rhine. Nicely furniture and convenient. The hotel is relatively close to historical centrum, but, as it is just a several hundred meters from restaurants, it was not noisy there. If you have time - visit Brüh castle. There are S-Bahn station in 5 minutes from the hotel and with one change you can reach the castle in circa 40 minutes and enjoy its rooms and park. P.S. No breakfast in the hotel, but a lot of restaurants nearby. And WIFI in my room was good, I had no problem with it.

Location was perfect right in the middle of the main area. Also a 2 mins walk from the river. Good views of the city especially with the small patio area outside. Plenty of space in the apartment.

The no sink situation wasn't ideal but we managed it, a couple of the devices to open the windows are really squeaky. If you don't like steps then this won't be good for you especially as a top floor apartment but again it didn't really affect us.

The hotel is a very old building facing the river in the old town area of Cologne. Close to station (15mins) and other public transport. Its an old building however with no lifts but you are aware of this at the time of booking and was no problem for me. The bathroom was modern, good hot water with excellent water pressure - even for the top floor. For me, the price was perfect - I didnt need a £200 room in another location.

No problems at all

Location was absolutely brilliant. In heart of tourist area with old town centre restaurants only 10 metres from door. Rhine riverbank restaurants and cruisers only 100 metres away. Website stated that there was no elevator in building, but there was a small 2-person elevator which was very useful for me with some mobility issues.

No real dislikes!

Booked the room for the football, euro 2024, to see Scotland play and on arrival I discovered that the hotel was a 60 second walk from the fan zone 😀 The room was expensive, but I put that down to supply and demand for the football being on. Bonus point was that room 4 overlooked the Rhine

No air condition, could be a problem during the summer.

I went to a concert in the LANxess Arena with a friend. We stayed for one night and it was perfect. Only 25 minutes of walking to the Arena and right at the start of the old city centre. The location was perfect. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom was very nice as well. A quiet place to sleep for a couple of nights.

Super comfy beds, was as described, easy check in and check out. Very very close to Hermarkdt parking building and multiple eateries. Right in middle of old town/central to key locations. Kitchen had basic things to eat simple meals. Nice and warm

Pillows were awful. Was noisy outside but we knew that was the case and didn't bother us.
