The location just in the middle of the centre. Full of coffee shops and restaurants that aren't a problem since they close before midnight. Very clean, spacious and bright room. The housekeepers cleaned the second day of my stay as referred during booking. Coffee machine with four capsules every second day. Very easy check-in via the use of an app to provide you with the card key.

Due to a casino next to the hotel every night you would listen at 4 and 5 o'clock in the morning some homeless drunk people litigating for long hour, but nothing to worry about with windows closed. I knew there was no small fridge when booking. There is no place to leave the luggage for some hours prior leaving the hotel. If those two things were available it would be a real value for money.

Great room, great location, great facilities! We were more than satisfied with everything. The bathroom was super clean! There are quite a few places around and amazing döner place next door.

At the check-in I got an error that the check-in can’t be completed at this moment and I have to try again. It made us panic for a moment given the fact there is no staff and it was already around 20:00h. I am not sure if this is a regular error or I was just unlucky but when I tried again, it worked smooth! Sharing this in case other people expirience it.

I was looking for a 'no frills' accommodation for a 1 night stay and this met my needs well. It was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect in central Cologne. My sleep was not disrupted due to the central location, but it was a Monday evening. First time staying in a hotel with no staff which I was anxious about, but all went well. All of the check in details were sent in advance and there was no issue with check in. I would stay again.

Location right in the centre, we couldn't ask for more. The bed was comfortable, the shower pleasant and there was a separate kitchen with a desk and a small terrace, so the space allows two people to sleep/work at the same time or have their private corner if needed. Excellent value for money.

Since it's right amidst bars, especially in summer if windows are open , it can be noisy. However, there is good noise isolation if the windows are closed.

Great experience, central location, close to the train station. Automated check-in/check-out worked perfectly, there are convenience options such as a kettle, extra towels. Spacious and clean room, great bathroom. I recommend it for functional hosting at a fair price.

The room was not cleaned up the next day. Lucky us we got only 2 days, but could be relevant others that will be guests for more days. For me, the default is to clean the room and if the guest does not want so it need to put the paper on the door, not contrary.

The hotel was very centrally located in Koln. It was only a short walk from the Koln DB station and there's a metro station right at the corner of the hotel. I was very lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade on Booking.com and the room was super spacious. It was clean and came with a Nespresso machine. The view of my apartment was directly looking at the square on the 4th. I would definitely come back.

I wished there was a small fridge or microwave in the apartment. Otherwise, everything was great.

The location was amazing! It’s right in the center in walking distance to everything. The room was clean and cosy.

There was no one to ask questions if you had any, no phone in the room, no reception and during our stay we never saw any staff member. I guess it will be noisy during summer because there are lots of restaurants and bars right in front of the hotel and when the weather is good people will sit outside until late night.

Great central location in the heart of alt stadt with sights, bars and restaurants all around, and less than 5 minutes walk to the Rhine. Only 10 minutes walk from the central train station. Good size comfortable room and we were fortunate to be on the 4th floor and to have a balcony with a view over the square and to the cathedral. It was very lively with bars etc outside but the soundproofing with windows closed and upper floor reduced the noise significantly so we weren't disturbed. We appreciated the environmental emphasis in the room.

Made clear in the hotel description, but would have been very noisy late into the night with windows open. Also probably noisier than usual due to a public holiday while we stayed.

It's the first time ever doing a self check in process and it was super easy & for ease/time saving, I recommend doing it before you go because then all you need is your Surname and Booking Reference code. The room was more like an apartment, spacious bedroom with a big TV & then a dining/kitchen area with also had a balcony albeit it seems to be home to two pigeons. Very clean, really cool vibe throughout the entire hotel and music playing in the public areas. We had a room that was on the bit of road that leads to a huge & popular square, didn't hear a thing with the window closed which was great. The bathroom was adequate, it was big enough for solo/couple of people, shower was huge, but the shower pressure was decent, but I've been very fortunate that showers in my recent trips have been top tier so I'm being very picky...also, you don't need to use your shower products, the one that's provided is a DELIGHTFUL smell...think Love Hearts candy, it was superb. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. Espresso machine with good coffee available. Location is also superb, 10mins away from Köln Hbf, 1min to the Heumarkt, 5 steps to Altermarkt, 3mins to Heumarkt Metro station, which takes you to all corners of the City. This hotel all in all, was superb in all aspects...if you're here for a few days.

Not much to dislike about the hotel in all honesty. Lift was stupidly small, two blokes and two cabin sized bags & it was beyond tight. The balcony while a nice bonus, needs to be cleaned just as regular as the rest of the building does.

The location was superb! Our stay was lovely. Though we booked the same type of room as our friends, we got one with an extra room with a kitchenette and table which you could sit around to play games, meanwhile their room was bigger but lacked a kitchenette.

The keycard machine works, but gives you an error message regardless. Also if, you don't take the room key fast enough, the machine will eat it again. You can still tell it to generate one again if this happens. There is an elevator, but it is a bit small.
