The hotel is well situated in the centre of the old city, just a few hundred metres from the Dom, the Hauptbahnhof, the main squares, shops, and Museum Ludwig. It is close to numerous restaurants and five minutes walk to the river. Staff were helpful. There is an option to eat in the Brauhaus, of which it is part. The breakfast buffet was fine, if not exciting. It was reasonably good value for a city centre hotel.

The room was small and storage was very limited. The bathroom was very small. My husband had to twist his legs to sit on the toilet! I would not recommend it for an extended stay but it was manageable for two nights. The room was not as quiet as I would have liked, considering that it was near the back of the hotel, although no noise came from the Brauhaus itself.

Good location

They combined two beds into one, but didn't put one large mattress, just left two separate ones. Because of this, the mattresses moved apart, forming a rather large hole. We lived on the top floor, but the elevator only works up to the penultimate floor. Our baggage was small and that wasn't a problem for us. But the ceiling above the stairs leading to the upper floor has a strong slope, we bumped our heads against it several times. You need to be careful.

The people at the reception were great, the room was clean, air conditioning working fine (just like everything else), wifi great, bed really comfortable (one of the best I've slept in in hotels), breakfast was good, also great location

If the room had been a little bigger, it would have been a 10 probably, but It was tight I must say (even without the luggage). Its probably the only negative point

The staff were excellent, appreciate how well they could speak English since I can speak no German. The room was comfortable and clean and I liked that you could crack the large window for fresh air. The bed was very comfortable. I think I had my best sleep of this trip there. Also liked the drink ticket for the hotel bar / restaurant. The food there was great. The room was small but I knew that it would be from the pictures in advance and the price made up for it. The hotel is right in the center of everything so it is worth it.

Location and staff. I got excellent room that after reading all reviews about tiny single rooms was like winning a jackpot. Thank you, guys for giving me the room I got! Breakfast is ok. Not as awful as in other reviews, just a regular one. Amazing location: just in between the Dom and market square. Next to their brewery that is a fairytale place!

AC was working strange so I was sleeping with open windows.. cleaning street at 4am...nice and fresh start of the day :) Bathroom needs to be rearranged: it is not small just insanely ordered. Pillows were so thin, like zero.

The front staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great. We had a room with an outside view.

The bathroom was TINY - plus the door on the bathroom made any real privacy impossible. Not for the faint-hearted. No facilities in the room for a hot drink. (Kettle and mugs not exactly a big ask.) Breakfast - came down and there were no scrambled eggs left at 9:45. I asked if I could have some (they had a couple of boiled eggs left), but the woman overseeing said 'we close at 10am, so we won't be doing anymore'. For a breakfast that costs €15 I'd expect some basic choice.

Rooms were compact but had everything you needed and no unnecessary extras. Lift great for my parents. Location was perfect, 25m from the entrance to one of the main markets, but not noisy. Less than 10 minutes walk to the main train station and Dom. Breakfast buffet good quality and standard selection. The staff were lovely, so helpful and accommodating.

Mattress was a bit hard for me but the cleaner brought me an extra quilt to soften my sleep, great service!

Lovely and modern. Facilities were good and staff friendly

The rooms were very compact although nice but the pillows could do with being better. As it is a city centre hotel there is a lot of noise from outside and being very close to the cathedral the bells can be a bit irritating.

We were placed in a lovely big room with a sofa and a nice view. Very close to the train station. I had asked for extra pillows and they were there. Staff was friendly. Cleanliness was ok too. Overall a great experience, especially for the price.

The toilet space was very small and slightly uncomfortable and the bathroom door was see through which dooesn't make for a great view as other people can see you using the toilet. Apart from that everything was great.

Like the double room we had with excellent quiet view to the old city hall and street, extra sofa space certainly made us stay more comfortable so we can hang out a bit for 3 people for our family reunion in a private room. The single room I booked for one night. It was next to our room, that helps.

We had one staff not easy to communicate, but the rest are wonderful
