It’s a great castle hotel. First of all it kept a lot of original stuff, paintings, furniture, beautiful interiors, such as walls, staircases, also doors and windows. One may catch a glimpse of how the first owner, Victoria, Princess Royal, could have lived a few hundred years ago. Secondly as a hotel the service and the comfort are top notch. Waiting people are attentive, friendly but not overbearing. One special event for us was that we couldn’t get a table for dinner because the whole place was fully booked. We expressed our disappointment after having spent one night in the cafe. Micheal who attended the dinner room that night felt bad for us and got us a table the last minute. We really enjoyed a great dinner and the splendid ambience. The professionalism and caring showed by Michael were the true qualities of a five star hotel.

Amazing interior

Bar food was pricy and below average, and music selection was horrible.

It was superb. 10 out of 10 for breakfast with champagne. Friendly and polite personal made their best to start the birthday morning with a lovely mood. Did small but very valuable present for BD. The territory of the hotel is amazing especially rose garden and golf fields. One of the best country hotel I have even been with great history. I do recommend to visit it for the special moments. Plus free parking near the main entrance. As a cherry on a cake clever collaboration with local Wine house and options to buy wines with friendly markup.

Maybe small recommendation to add light appetisers for wines in the bar. The wine list is huge and nice but no any light snacks or something for wine pairing.

The greenery, the quiet place, the gardens, and the special treat on our special occasion, that was really nice and kind of the hotel team. And special thanks to the bellman Mr. Mohammed Ilyas for his hospitality and warm welcome.

No complementary bottles of water to drink, no coffee machine in the room, and most importantly no AC in some of the rooms which was unfortunately our room where it was supposed to have one, because I made sure before booking that our room have AC in the description! Anyway our stay was pretty good and we enjoyed our time there.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive both prior to our arrival and during our stay. The room was very spacious, well-appointed and immaculately clean. It was nice to have the complimentary mini-bar (no alcoholic beverages). We also enjoyed having the small balcony. The breakfast was simply amazing and the professionalism of the waitstaff was superb! A very special place!

We were disappointed that the restaurant is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays at this time of year (March), and the only option for dinner was the bar restaurant. We ate at another restaurant in town.

The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They went the extra mile and we commend them for that. Please keep us the good work. The place was welcoming, beautiful estate and nice place to relax, find some quietness while not being far away from Frankfurt main city. They have a huge golf course for those who want to practice(practice ground) or play, lovely terrace and old but beautiful building.

The room was a bit cold. Couldn’t figure out where to fix the temperature. However I didn’t ask hence I can’t really put the blame on them

We stopped here during our drive through Germany, seeking a touch of luxury on the road, and we were not disappointed. The place was absolutely beautiful, the room was spotless and comfortable, and there was ample parking available. A lovely bonus was the little treats and a cozy little bed for our dog. The premises also offered a nice area for a relaxing walk. Since we were only staying for one night as part of a long drive, we wanted a convenient place to eat and have a drink. The bar exceeded our expectations with fantastic cocktails and a very friendly bartender.

Unfortunately, the restaurant fell a bit short. While the food was alright, it felt a little too simple for the price (we had seasonal pastas). On the bright side, the wine recommendation by the staff was great. If the restaurant offered better value for money, this would be a place I’d gladly stay at for an extended visit.

The hotel and surrounding park are absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast is super good. Rooms are big and comfortable, the hotel is flexible and allowed late checkout in our last night a fact we highly appreciated

We got some pretty high breakfast charges on top of included in rate we do not understand. Prices are rather high and some staff is not at this level of service. Location is very good for the Taunus and was perfect for us but of course not easy to get to Frankfurt without car.

We had a nice lunch with white wine, frankfurters with potato salad in the living room at the enormous fireplace. All good and very attentive service. We booked the cheapest rooms and got two very different ones. One more modest to the back in the attic with a small window and one partly to the garden with a grand window. Great breakfast buffet, but somewhat bland scrambled eggs. Staff very helpful and friendly - like in a private Club.

In such a grand house one would appreciate one more area for guests. The great library room facing the garden was obviously used as storage after a big dinner. This was really a pity as it left only the front fireplace room as a common room.

This is our second time staying at the Schlosshotel. We got a room with a view and a little seating area which was amazing. We loved being able to spend time in the entry lounge in front of the fireplace. It was decorated very beautifully for the holidays. For us, staying at the hotel is a retreat from the city. The grounds are quiet and beautiful to walk around. Parking is convenient and plentiful. The food, including breakfast, was delicious. We will continue to stay here whenever we come to Frankfurt.
