We were lucky to get the family room on the 2nd floor overlooking the river. It had a lovely view out of the windows and it was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The location is perfect for exploring old town of Lübeck. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice - good food and lovely atmosphere. The parking was a bit challenging, but we managed to find a parking space on the street nearby and we didn't have to pay because parking is free at the weekend.

Nothing, everything was good

Room 2, where I stayed, has the most perfect balcony overlooking the water and old town. Ideal for a few days writing (like me) or doing any kind of remote work.

Bed could have been more comfortable. But honestly, I didn’t even care. That’s how otherwise great the room was!

Location was great, building was nice, most of the staff were very nice and friendly.

Nobody mentioned to us at check in that breakfast was not included, so it was a surprise to us at check out when we were asked to pay. On top of that, the breakfast was extremely basic and overpriced. This was the type of breakfast I would expect to get for free. I would have accepted paying 7 EUR or so, but for 15 EUR I would expect a lot more.

The kindness of the personnel - including hrlping with luggage on the stairs. The space in the room. And, most of all, the magnificent terrace (I had room 4), with views and nice furniture, including a suspended rocking chair.

Nothing to complain about

Wonderful location on the banks of the Trave and the edge of the old city. Two adjoining rooms which was ideal for a family. We left my son's soft toy behind by mistake and the hotel was kind enough to post it back to us. Strongly recommend.

Poor service at the reception, they have not told us were our room was located (it appeared in another building), and we had to move with our bags up and down, etc. All other info, like when and were is breakfast, other services were not provided.

Lovely old building in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

It would be really great if blackout blinds were fitted to stop the early morning light.

Great staff : smiley, very welcoming and helpful. Amazing location. The family room (we were two adults and 2 kids aged 5 and 8) is spacious.

It was for me a great location

At check out time I could not use my Master Card Credit Card, yet there was enough money on my account. I had to use my cash and I had barely enough to pay for my Taxi to the Airport in Hamburg By the way I checked with the Credit Card Company and I was told that my Card was good and I had over $ 3.000,00 on my account My Bill was only 736.00 Euro for my stay.
