The hotel is really nice and clean, the room was perfect for what I needed it. I really enjoyed to even have an in-suite bathroom for this price. The also have real curtains, which does not always seem to be the case in Germany. All in all the perfect stay if you just need a room to sleep in.

I was looking for a place to rest after a 6-hour visit to the Speyer technical museum and another 4 hours to the Miramar water park. I found the perfect place at the Work & Sleep Boardinghouse hotel. The evening and morning receptionists were extremely kind and welcoming, in the morning we received a small sweet snack on the house. The room with three comfortable beds was very large, clean, modern, with a fridge!, cool, completely silent, huge smart TV and very good internet. The location is close to the highway exit. It was a company event at the hotel and the parking lot was full, but I didn't have any stress in finding a free parking spot on the street in front of the hotel.

Location was quite close to where I needed to be, but was a bit tucked away in the industrial district. Relatively quiet little place and you get a clean modernish room for a good price. Have nothing to really complain about. Staff was nice too.

Brand new hotel, sober decoration, friendly staff and very close to my destination. I didn't use the WiFi too much but from what I remember it was good as well. Oh, and I almost forgot: EXCELLENT check-out times! While in most places you have to "rush" to leave at 11 or 12:00, here they have a bit extra leeway which makes all the difference when you spent all night partying :) This alone is enough reason for me to be returning but everything else is great.

The only thing I can think of that could be improved are the showers. I'm not sure if that's the case for all rooms, but sadly my room's shower didn't have a door, resulting in a soaked bathroom and floor towel despite all my efforts to keep the water from spilling outside of the shower area, which was quite unpleasant for me. This can be easily improved with a regular glass door for the shower or, alternatively, making extra 2 or 3 floor towels available so guests can at least dry the floor a bit. This is the single thing preventing me from awarding the maximum score.

Very nice hotel with good value. 15-20 minutes by tram to Mannheim central station.

If you plan to visit Heidelberg a lot by public transportation, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Despite the fact that there is a very convenient tram 1 that goes to Mannheim, to go to Heidelberg it requires transfer 1-2 time, which it takes almost 1 hour for the distance that is only 18 minutes by car. Other than this, there are almost no restaurant or grocery store nearby. Also it would be nice to have hair dryer in the room.

Absolutely ok hotel. For the price you can't expect more. Basic rooms, but all clean and nothing to complain about. Still you should have a car to move around, as it is outside of the city center and public transport takes quite some time.

Parking is a bit small, not too many cars can fit. Shower is not properly enclosed and water can easily go outside.

No breakfast included but the nice and friendly staff offer fruit and packaged croissants. 3 beds room is big with a minibar fridge available for your usage. Staff very friendly and looking always to helping you and improving your stay. Near to the tram stop

Beds are confortable but pillows are hard and too big...It's a matter of taste. Location: it depends on your visit goal in Mannheim. The location works perfectly for me visiting the industrial area of Mannheim. However you can get to the town center by tram in less than 20min.

Very friendly staff, enough space in the room, own bathroom, spotless clean, very comfortable bed, desk, closet and a place to put the bag(s), free parking, next to the highway.
