A good hotel, friendly staff, reasonable price, very close to the train station (about 5-7 minutes walk), there are some great places to eat a brunch or to have a drink nearby and there's an option of late check out at 1pm free of charge - which is helpful if you are coming to Mannheim for one of the amazing parties! The rooms themselves are big, have minibars, lots of light and wonderful comfy heating (for the winter days) Overall a great option to stay in Mannheim !

A bit old fashioned designed... very 90's style, which is not necessarily very bad, but all the dark wood and the dark green carpet and red colours, together with the curtains gives a very "heavy" atmosphere, but I think some will find it nice, so it's not lowering my ranking too much. For me also was lacking the existence of Shampoo in the shower (only a 2 in 1 soap and shampoo is provided)

Location, room and breakfast. Being greeted so warmly on arrival; the lady was lovely. We arrived from England much later than expected and we were very tired. Her friendliness and helpfulness meant a lot. The place was clean and the room was cosy and extremely comfortable. The heating worked beautifully as it was quite outside! The breakfast had so much choice and was nice and cosy; not overbearing with being too large. The lady helping was friendly. We have never stayed at a Best Western before but will do so in future based on our experience. We also highly recommend this particular hotel.

The following aren't really what we didn't like - more what might help the hotel in future. The gym should have been available until late; however, when we got there, it was closed, very disappointing. One bed's pillow was very flat - quite useless, really and there weren't extra pillows for those of us who like more than one pillow! In the room, there were no English breakfast tea bags (or similar) - only flavoured. There was also no milk or sugar or teaspoons. We brought tea, sugar and milk from the local Aldi. The lady on Reception kindly gave us teaspoons on request. At breakfast, the tea facility was also poor for us. We used our own tea bags. However, these experiences won't prevent us from staying at this great hotel again!

The room was good, Clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good had a nice selection of things. Could also ask for extras like fried eggs or omlettes. Also had a pancake maker for making your own pancakes. Location was great just 5 mins walk from train station. Mannheim we found a bit quiet not as many bars or restaurants as Cologne.

Only big problem was no air conditioning. Our room (326). was above the Beer Garden and on Friday night it was a bit noisy as several people who were there for a conference were sitting out and we had to have the window open as the humidity was 90% during our stay. Hotel supplied a fan but this stopped working after 1 night so replaced with new one.

The room was fresh and clean. It had air conditioning which was important due to extreme outdoor temperatures. The shower had excellent water pressure. The breakfast was plentiful with wide range of food options. We enjoyed sitting in the bar and having a beer with a freshly handmade pizza.

My husband thought the internet signal could have been stronger; however I thought it was okay. Mannheim streets were not clean which was surprising to us. Usually Germany is very clean, but once we walked into the hotel we knew immediately we were in a German hotel!

Room was perfect. Staff very helpful. Top size of the room, confortable and very good bathroom and tea choice. Very clean.

I don't have a key during all my stay for some electronic problems, but the staff always open my room for me. At check in towels were missing. Radio was not available in the room differently from booking description. No bidet available

We booked and arrived very late but this was no problem and the room was great value for money and conveniently located from the highway.

Something triggered the firealarm early in the morning, making everyone having to evacuate the building. Strange thing is, we couldn't hear the alarm in our room, only knew because we got called by reception. This seems dangerous.

The staff was exceptional. The gentleman who worked the evening shift when I arrived was very nice. The lady that worked on the next day (26th of August) was also amazing. She was very helpful and pleasant to communicate with. The room was clean. Overall, the people who work there are what sets this hotel apart from others.

1 The staff were very helpful, multi lingual and had good humor. Every part of the hotel we saw was spotlessly clean. Room decor was beautiful, beds were comfortable, there were plenty of hot drinks choice/ kettle and the toiletries smelt amazing. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well designed. The location an easy 10 minute walk from Manneheim hbf and bus/tram links. The free city guide was a bonus as i hadn't managed to buy one in advance. The garden was a lovely area to have a coffee or beer. We are planning another trip to Mannerheim just so we can stay in this hotel again 😁

There was one pillow and cushion on each bed but i could have done with an extra pillow. We didn't have breakfast at 20 euro pp it seemed very expensive but that may be the usual rate in Germany.

Location perfect for a train traveller. Excellent room - plenty of space including a proper seating area, and carpeted (which you don't always get on the Continent). And very good breakfast included too.

The room was really nice. Very calm, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was really convenient offering a lot of space. The bar area was inviting with sufficient options. The coffee/tea making facilities in the room were great.

There wasn't anything I didn't like...
